I find the game awesome personally

I thought the game was good when I finished it but the more time went by the more disappointed I was.

Its the voice acting and general sound of the game for me, I enjoyed it a lot and I am looking forward to more with the DLC.

I really enjoy it too. I've been lucky enough to only have one mission that couldn't complete (since fixed), and only occasional crashes. I've got occasional minor audio or graphics glitches, generally corrected by reloading a save, and there is an area near the ferris wheel in Pacifica that really kicks my frame rates in the teeth and has caused crashes.

My only real disappointment is that there are not enough side quests unique to each path. Maybe it changed with Red, but I'd have liked to see paths available for Rockerboy, Techie, Fixer, Solo and Cop also.

Man if you lived cyberpunk and found it awesome youre gonna love (insert literally any other open world rpg made after 2011) I mean it has every feature cp2077 has and more!

I loved the game, it was all I played from release until last week. Playing on PS5.

As much as people want to shit on the game I really enjoyed it on a high end machine (8700K+3080).

The game has a long way to go in a LOT of ways but holy s**t the graphics are the best we'll probably get to see for a good while.

Can only imagine being able to play it in the future at 8K/120Hz at high frame rates. It's going to be wild.

same with 9900k and 2080s this game is awesome looking.

I also find the gameplay to be an absolute blast. I understand the criticism, but I think if they simply released only on newer consoles the hate train wouldn't have left the station.

Love the gameplay. I play on an i9900k @ 5.0 GHz and a Gigabyte vision OC 3080 on a triple monitor 5760 X 1200 display. So gorgeous and fun.

Peoples obsession with graphics has put us in the mess we have today. It should be compared to special effects in movies. Its doent make a movie good!

ID: gq8b7oi

If it pushes the medium forward I think it's fine. Paves the way for good games to have amazing graphics. I'd rather there be a few shitty games with amazing graphics, than only good games and the graphic start to stagger.

I absolutely loved the campaign just wish there was more of it, but I wish everything they promoted towards the release of the game was true.

Keanu was terrible, and his story was a convoluted mess of bad writing and overworked scifi tropes.

I honestly don't understand why people saw it as a disappointment (aside from console players that got fucked and people with unrealistic expectations), one of the few games I pre-ordered and I don't regret it one bit

ID: gq7n3t8

Yep, it was the first and only game I ever pre-ordered in ~40 years of gaming. Absolutely loved it. I can spend endless hours on foot exploring Night City.

Because it came out 3 months ago and still has game breaking bugs from day one that still didn’t get fixed

I bought it on release after reviews came out. Played on my higher end PC with the pretty graphics and Ray Tracing.

10/10 game if you weren't expecting a GTA ripoff. Which is most people's complaints.

Parts of the story literally made me cry, and that moment when The Heist starts going wrong put my ass on the edge of my seat. It wasn't some groundbreaking greatest game of all time, but it was a well crafted RPG with a killer story, phenomenal characters, and very deep themes that I feel were missed by a large portion of the players.

Plus, how can anyone not be impressed by how subtly they play with the concept of "what is human?" It wasn't the whole point, and it's not a new concept in sci fi, but fuck it was well delivered.

Those unrealistic expectations were fueled by CD Projekt themselves. They hyped this game up so much themselves that they couldnt even live up to it. Half of the stuff they marketed isnt even in the fucking game!

There's a beautifully designed world there and (even with the bugs) it's an excellent game. I am disappointed, though, that they didn't follow through on their bold claims that choices matter. As far as I can appreciate- they don't. It would've gotten a lot less heat if they'd not pushed that angle and said it was going to be more linear right from from the start.

9 : Anonymous2021/03/08 17:46 ID: gq8feo8

It may have problems but that story is too good for me to not give it major credit. Along with its very impressive visuals, it has great characters, great animations, great customisation in both appearance and playstyle, amazing soundtrack, great voice acting...

It may be a disappointment when measured against its insane about of hype, but the result was hardly a disappointment for me as a whole.

10 : Anonymous2021/03/08 17:58 ID: gq8h5yg

I wasn't disappointed in the least.

11 : Anonymous2021/03/08 14:53 ID: gq7rafk

Every screenshot could look like a wallpaper i swear

12 : Anonymous2021/03/08 16:55 ID: gq880dq

Eh I loved the game myself.

13 : Anonymous2021/03/08 17:15 ID: gq8atae

I stopped playing in the beginning because the bugs were unbearable and I wasn’t too interested in the story. I recently started again and a few frustrating things got smoothed out and it’s made it more enjoyable. Also got further in the story and it’s pretty engaging, as well as side quests. There are still bugs that are annoying though (PC)

14 : Anonymous2021/03/08 17:26 ID: gq8cf2s

yeah, i took some nice screenshots too. it does have nice visuals.

i hope they can add more content in the near future.

15 : Anonymous2021/03/08 16:36 ID: gq85bf4

It isn't. Who says it is, anyway? Some ignorant fool who's never been into gaming? Don't listen to them. The graphics are incredible and the game is a very well-thought one. We'd better be happy with it and not expect more, the graphics are the best we'll see in a few centuries.
