While I would love to see the LAN in Japan, I do however it's a harder one to achieve (ATM like the entire world has an entry ban)
Initially, the FAV Cup was also intended to be a Japanese LAN event (for Japanese teams) However that has been changed to an Online format due to the current circumstances as well.

They are currently practicing for the CR cup which happens later in the week. CR cup is a bit like twitch rivals.
Selly is streaming for the first time on youtube with between 10-15k viewers. Averages around 2.5k on twitch.

Most of the economic leaders in the Asia-Pacific region are on strict travel bans still. It might change based on the state of the world post-vaccination but it's not something I see happening soon. I guess people are banking on Japan because the Olympics might still happen there but even that looks bleak.

A lot of people were saying Navi's manager or someone like that 'leaked' that it was in Tokyo, but I'm not sure the Navi manager knows more than the rest of us about the legality of travelling to Japan atm...

Covid rates are dropping like a rock globally, I just hope we can get back go normal soon so we can have lans at all. However right now some people aren't even allowed to leave their countries, let alone have japan accept them
