The last time I played ranked was back in season 4 and I struggled to get through gold. But this season, I decided to give ranked a good try after being too intimidated for the longest time. I solo q’d from Bronze to Plat and I played a few games with friends to get through plat. I only have 1 other in my chat that is diamond 4 and is seriously trying to rank up, while the rest mostly play casually and are either gold or plat. These last few days I’ve given ranked a break due to lack of friends, but I want to get back to it. I am willing to join other GCs if mines does not sound appealing to join.
I do not have a specific main, but I like to use mobile/somewhat mobile characters (Bang, Pathfinder, Octane, Bloodhound are my go to players) that have good pushing potential, but can also help out the team with positioning, cover or intel. I think I have good decision making and I always make call outs.
Shit talk and scolding wont bother me as long as the leesson beung taught is clear. I dont get offended by swearing or certain slurs as long as no one is intentionally trying to disrespect anyone. Im not big on being wholesome, as long as we’re chill and authentic thats all that matters to me.
I play on PS5 if that makes a difference. I’m 20 yrs old, I do work and my environment is pretty quiet (only one roommate). I have no kids or pets or people to nag me, so distractions are minimal. I play best in the late afternoon and evening.
