Help us randoms, mobile respawn beacon availability in Teammate deathboxes should clearly be visible.

Pinging it before you take it and hoping they remember is the best you can do. Its dumb.

Since looting your teammate boxes is considered cardinal sin, to the point that people may even choose to not loot the box to replenish armor for an oncoming assault, in the heat of the battle nobody cares to look to see whether your teammate has a mobile respawn beacon.
This has been brought up multiple times but I think this is quite an important visual aid for us randoms.
Edit: The least invasive solution would be having the deathbox auto-pinged as the respawn point, just treat the location as an active spawn point which is autopinged based on vicinity, and then even programming it would be super easy!

I loot teammates deathbox in a fight if desperate or low chance they can return to it.

Nice Idea, even if you pinged them a mobile respawn beacon to pick it up while looting, you don't remember it afterwards. I hope this gets implemented in the game.

ID: gz7ja14This is also a good idea. After all, in arenas deathboxes instantly drop items. It could be for survival items. One other graceful solution is to have the deathbox auto-pinged as the respawn point, or the player's own location if they already have one. It would be super easy to program that in, the only thing they need to do is to treat the deathbox or player location as a spawn point, use the same logic for when they do the auto-ping the nearest spawn point.

If they simply moved it to between armor and weapons I beg randos would see it.
Edit: I thought about this and I think they should be able to add something, without a ton of effort, that will ping the mobile respawn as the closest respawn beacon if it's in your deathbox.

Bro, half the time I'll be on mic and TELL them I have a beacon on me, then they go die trying to get to a regular one anyway.

Pro tip: You can actually go into your inventory and let everyone know you have one by pinging it

Omfg the amount of times I’ve shouted into the ether that is solo que with no mic randos that I have a mobile respawn on my body. This feature would be perfect.

one time i go across the map to a respawn beacon to save my teammate, when i was to respawn him, i remeber i have a mobile beacon hahahah
ID: gz70zy0LOL, when they ping to be respawned, the game could ping your location with the respawn beacon icon 😀 (when you pick them up, nearest respawn beacon is also auto-pinged, so that could ping you too)

I love that idea. I’m an off mic player (as I play my best that way) I always wish there was a way to access my loot after boxed to ping a better shield, or beacon for my squad mates.

Some of these QOL asks are getting out of control.
They can already look in your death box if they are smart enough to look for a beacon. We don't need pings/notifiers for EVERY possible thing.

Just my opinion, but I really don't think the game needs another floating icon that will get in the way of seeing enemies. maybe the deathbox could have a pulsing glow or something, but please, not a floating icon 🙁

I do the same with gold backpack/knockdown. Seems to work ok
