- Help us randoms, mobile respawn beacon availability in Teammate deathboxes should clearly be visible.
Pinging it before you take it and hoping they remember is the best you can do. Its dumb.ID: gz76s4f
I do the same with gold backpack/knockdown. Seems to work okID: gz7ffeu
Well at least you can see if your teammates have that it would be nice to see their survival slotID: gz7czoo
The only time i loot my allies boxes is if im shield swapping looking for a beacon or heat shield. Or if they left the gameID: gz7737z
They never remember...ID: gz7de6p
you can actually ping it from inventory, the legend will say they have a mobile respawn beacon (or heat shield if u have that)
I will only support this if it looks exactly like it does in the picture. I want the plain text and I want it to say hello just like that. It’s perfect.ID: gz785zq
Sounds like what pathfinder or mirage would do and i love it
Since looting your teammate boxes is considered cardinal sin, to the point that people may even choose to not loot the box to replenish armor for an oncoming assault, in the heat of the battle nobody cares to look to see whether your teammate has a mobile respawn beacon.
This has been brought up multiple times but I think this is quite an important visual aid for us randoms.
Edit: The least invasive solution would be having the deathbox auto-pinged as the respawn point, just treat the location as an active spawn point which is autopinged based on vicinity, and then even programming it would be super easy!ID: gz6hcrc
and even if they do loot your box, since heatshields and respawn beacons are at the very bottom they probably won't bother to look for itID: gz6nm7i
Make team mate loot boxes green like the second chance LTM.
Or put the survival slot items after ammo and before the body gear.
Just an idea.ID: gz6jiv0
And that's only if you are lucky enough if they didn't just leave right away.
Can't even glance in their box cause then they just dc or plug their mics in to rage at you for stealing loot.ID: gz6l143
Personally I don't care if my box gets looted, am already dead they anit and going back to your box guarantees a 3rd party.
I loot teammates deathbox in a fight if desperate or low chance they can return to it.ID: gz6rgup
If we won a drop spot but someone died on my team I'm leaving the box. If I've got a minute to get into the circle and respawn my teammate and they died on the very edge of the circle? I'm taking as much as I can then dropping meds and ammo if my teammate needs them.ID: gz6xgis
They should have multiple visual aids. The one you suggested on deathboxes, and an additional one in the bottom left nameplates next to shields and health.
And maybe a Loba passive as well.ID: gz70pqt
Cardinal sin? My random teammates do it all the time :/ID: gz7h58r
I kinda feel like if they do this, all death boxes that have a mobile respawn beacon should be marked. Because even if no one on your squad has one, one of your dead enemies might.
Nice Idea, even if you pinged them a mobile respawn beacon to pick it up while looting, you don't remember it afterwards. I hope this gets implemented in the game.
What if survival items dropped outside the loot box upon death? So heat shields and mobiles are obvious next to them?ID: gz7ja14
This is also a good idea. After all, in arenas deathboxes instantly drop items. It could be for survival items. One other graceful solution is to have the deathbox auto-pinged as the respawn point, or the player's own location if they already have one. It would be super easy to program that in, the only thing they need to do is to treat the deathbox or player location as a spawn point, use the same logic for when they do the auto-ping the nearest spawn point.ID: gz7ajkt
This is itID: gz7okup
at if survival items dropped outside the loot box upon death? So heat shield
Just when you think it can't get better. A legendary comment shows up.
If they simply moved it to between armor and weapons I beg randos would see it.
Edit: I thought about this and I think they should be able to add something, without a ton of effort, that will ping the mobile respawn as the closest respawn beacon if it's in your deathbox.
Bro, half the time I'll be on mic and TELL them I have a beacon on me, then they go die trying to get to a regular one anyway.
Pro tip: You can actually go into your inventory and let everyone know you have one by pinging it
Yes, please! This is an amazing idea that needs to be in the game.
Omfg the amount of times I’ve shouted into the ether that is solo que with no mic randos that I have a mobile respawn on my body. This feature would be perfect.ID: gz7wo49
if you shout and type and the still wont go get you... that logo and text wont make them get it. they are just selfish players and theres nothing you can do about it :/
one time i go across the map to a respawn beacon to save my teammate, when i was to respawn him, i remeber i have a mobile beacon hahahahID: gz70zy0
LOL, when they ping to be respawned, the game could ping your location with the respawn beacon icon 😀 (when you pick them up, nearest respawn beacon is also auto-pinged, so that could ping you too)
Apex players will do anything except communicate
You should be able to ping items in your box when you're dead
I always check someone's deathbed to see if they have a mobile respawn beacon
I just write that in the chat. Worked so far. Still, nice idea.
this better reach hot
I always ping one in my backpack when I pick it up.
Solution, when you die your death box now functions as a mobile beacon xD
You can’t ask the game to make everything so easy for you. In my day, you couldn’t even revive dead teammates in battle royalsID: gz7rqah
I can remember when this was all Erangel.
Just having that logo appear when a team mate pings their box would be fantastic.
I love that idea. I’m an off mic player (as I play my best that way) I always wish there was a way to access my loot after boxed to ping a better shield, or beacon for my squad mates.
Some of these QOL asks are getting out of control.
They can already look in your death box if they are smart enough to look for a beacon. We don't need pings/notifiers for EVERY possible thing.ID: gz79069
This is also easily solved through basic communication.ID: gz71h34
Yes, maybe just ping the location of the deathbox automatically when you pick those up, instead of the one that is at the other corner of the map? There are alternative solutions without clutter.
Just my opinion, but I really don't think the game needs another floating icon that will get in the way of seeing enemies. maybe the deathbox could have a pulsing glow or something, but please, not a floating icon 🙁
If you ping the beacon, does it not ping the box itself?ID: gz6g9b6
its almost like you could just hop on your mic and say "I had a mobile respawn beacon on me" or type it in chat.
*head explosion*ID: gz6vdrtSome people are mic shy 2. Some people don't have mics 3. Some people on console can't open the chat or hear tts (I'm one of them)
