I heard it might be sound problems when the game loads in those files. Try using different sound settings or disable steam audio. Might give it a shot.

ID: hi46a91I had the same problem I was at 16gb ddr4 2666mhz, my friend was at 16gb ddr4 w/ 3200mhz and didn’t have any problems. Once I upgraded to 32 (still at 2666mhz) it stopped. Check your ram speed and that’ll tell ya.

People talk about RAM gbs but never about their MHz or if they are ddr3 or ddr4. I run 16gbs 3200mhz and never had issues

Loading an XMP may help if it's in any way a ram related issue.
It probably just isn't though and people just like parroting their justification for spending loads of money on a 32-64gb kit.

yea for me i just lag out as soon as something important starts happening....yesterday i got god spawn in customs but it was a late spawn so people were already in dorms.....went in killed a dude....had to heal so i went into a room...saw a dudes flashlight in the hall as i was healing.....except he was walking in place and i was in an infinite healing animation for a good minute straight...lagging out randomly is one thing...but when it just makes you sit there unable to do anything except walk around for 5 min while you wait for it to ACTUALLY disconnect you is infuriating as all hell

I had this issue and it wasnt ram, it was CPU issues and the fact that I didnt have it on an SSD.

Clear your direct x shader cache before you start playing. Theres an Nvidia one and a disk one. Clear them both and run the game and you shouldn't have to deal with stutters like this. I played like this for a long time sadly

I got the same issue as much that everytime I see a little frame lag I'm aware that someone is near me. This game is technically embarrassing.

Couple things to check - Run your task manager and go to performance and see what the GPU is doing during these stutters.
I had this and what was happening is the GPU was not being sent information from the CPU. Now this could be information overload, but regardless it was a CPU bottleneck that only appeared with 12.10. I replaced the CPU with one that doesn't bottleneck and I have not had a single stutter since.
GPU is a 1080, old CPU was an i7 3770, new one is a Ryzen 5600x
Other than that, it would be going through the usual checks of CPU temps. memory usage, what other things are running in the background. All stuff you have probably already done, or already been suggested.
