Reason being is that it would filter out all those rare, super expensive items only available on flea market.
This would make it easier and simpler to build a weapon with consistent prices from traders only instead of, for example have to look after the best available foregrip from traders by jumping back and forth either on traders or click "find parts" until you select an item available from traders.
I know you have a filter on flea market that only shows trader available items but then you can't quickly compare stats of items the way you can do in the workbench info overlay. -

If I'm remembering right, Nikita said they would look into doing it but it's more complicated than it sounds.
Correct, there is no easy way for the preset loader to parse what your trader levels are.
Honestly, people just need to learn the best item in slot from each trader level. Its not hard...

Ah, you've seen the code? Was it as bad as everyone assumes?
It seems way easier for a submenu of the game to access some trivial information than for the players to learn the stats of every single piece of equipment for every trader level and every slot..
Also I feel like if different coloured grips would be under the same option. Or an option to "ignore colour variants" or something. Like I wanna build a good gun I don't care about colours so when one grip with the exact same stats is double the price of another, it's hard to build quickly lol
Also helps when you have the “wrong” color in your inventory already.
Yeah like for gunsmith there's a bunch of ones that the colour doesn't matter I just wanna do those tasks without spending more than I have to lol
I also hope they add the option that shows barter items also. Like if you went to buy the parts it would show you the available parts from the flee and also on the side the same parts that require bartering from traders. Honestly I kinda wish the flee was either not in the game or just locked at a way higher lvl
