For those interested in the loot:
Was trying to kill ol' Shturmy on woods with a kitted up ADAR. Came in with NVGs and some jank busted Korund. I started killing his guards when I started getting shots at me from a suppressed weapon. It sounded like an SR-25 or M1A coming from checkpoint/truck to me so I ran off into the woods towards sniper rock.
I had figured whoever was shooting at me was using thermals as all the shots were landing very close to me as I was running through trees. I then decided to abandon my Shturman kill as this thermal user clearly had the upper-hand as all I had was NVGs. I decided I would try to flank all the way around, alongside the water near the dock and came around the backside of checkpoint. I then heard some firing off an MK-18 so I knew it was at least a duo. The MK-18 player was on the most obvious rock beside the truck on the main road and stood still to scan the back area with his REAPR sight. Too little too late as I was already aimed at his head. He was the first to go. I found some low-ground near the body and was strafe-crouching waiting for his partner to show up, a few seconds later someone misses a shot on me and I run the opposite direction, loop around, see the one who was shooting at me and put about 4 rounds into him before losing sight. I decided at that moment to push him as I knew he was injured.
As I ran up to find him I get shot in the back once, It hits my stomach and blacks it out. I sprint up the hill left of the obvious rock and prone in a rocky outcrop. Fully heal and as soon as I'm done I hear the player rushing me. I quickly pop out, spray him down with my ADAR and his buddy pushes me and puts 2 shots on me. I manage to headshot him. 3 down.
At this point I was running low on ammo so I quickly looted one of the bodies and picked up an SR-25 with a REAPR on it with about 2 mags left. I don't know there are still 2 more teammates of theirs near so I begin healing. Once done I use the thermal to scan the area and sure enough, I get one more signature. I plop a few shots into him before getting both my arms blacked out from another direction with an MK-18. At this point I now know there are 2 more players, and one most likely looted their first-to-die friends MK-18. One rushes me, I throax him with my remaining ADAR rounds. The next stays back and tries to finish me with the MK-18 and hits me once more in the arm. I can barely see him through the bushes with my ADAR so I switched back to the SR-25 with the thermal, spotted him, and landed a clean headshot to end the engagement. The whole battle lasted around 8-10 minutes.
Thought you guys might like to hear the story behind the loot. In total it adds up to around 7 million, probably more counting ammo and supplies. Especially the Lupa rounds. I placed the 5 tags in my backpack after extracting in case one of them see's this post. Good fight guys, I should've totally been dead but you blacked all of my limbs except for my head and thorax.
TLDR: Got shot at, decided to retaliate. Turned out to be a 5-man. Won.

I partly wrote it all out to calm myself down a bit after the whole engagement. Figured some other people might like to know how it happened.
I also wrote it in hopes one of them might see and find out how it went down from my perspective. One added me but hadn't replied or said anything yet, so I guess we'll see!

my stories from woods are all pretty much the same, I manage to kill someone and then someone else lands a random headshot and I'm dead. There's no blacked-out arms, no blacked-out stomachs.. no healing no nothing. Just death. Surprised they didn't manage to kill you with at least 4 thermals, than again with so many people they must have had chaos to whom is who

First off, great job!
This is a good example of why people that don’t know how to work in a squad shouldn’t play in a squad. I do way better solo or with certain friends because we actually cover properly. The current group I am playing with has gotten me killed so much lately because no matter what I say or do they just don’t cover lanes properly. Sounds like they don’t either lol.

IRL 5 man squad training takes weeks just to get around and friendly fire happens too often, in order to actually squad you need to have a point man and to know your position and never cross into friendly cover areas.
this obviously doesn't work as most people want to make sweet plays and run around or try to push - resulting in either getting yourself killed by your squad or disabling 1-2 members of the squad as they now can't shoot on sight.ID: gq8apudHey thanks man, appreciate it!
This is my first ever 5 man wipe. I've done 4 in the past but this one was interesting.
I for sure agree with you that they didn't know what they were doing as the chaos messed up their playstyle. It's hard to play in 5s and I never play in a group more than 3. I usually prefer solo or duo. Not to mention them completely spreading out and pushing me randomly.

ID: gq89dwtNo idea! I didn't really care to be honest because I didn't end up killing him, only his guards. I also didn't have any intention of killing him after I got looted from these guys.
I'm also thinking since I heard those MK-18 shots they probably managed to kill the boss and looted up which is why they came at me in 2s rather than all pushing me. I figured some were down in the lumber yard looting when I started the fight again.
