I had a scav go prone so fast I thought for sure I’d killed him, so I stopped shooting. Nope, he proceeded to kill me with one more shot to the chest.

I went on a little self rant about this the other day, ran into reserve scav boss and one turned around the corner, I had the easiest headshot lined up, insta crouched so I missed and then 2 shot my peter off. Fun times.

Buddy and I were both competing for Shooter Born kills so we were on nearly opposite ends of Customs the other night. I shot at a scav who tanked an M80 round to the dome and took off running from the intersection by bridge, all the way past the gas station. I was laughing my ass off about it for a full 30 seconds until my friend asked me "Hey was the scav you shot at wearing a Pilgrim?". When I confirmed it he noted that it made it all the way to the military checkpoint in one sprint before putting the scav down. They can cover almost literally the entire map without stopping once. Silly shit.
ID: hw39zq3We count, out loud, face shots on scavs. You'll just randomly hear someone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ok he's down. Helmet untouched. They're absolutely nuts this wipe.
ID: hw3wukhI dunno what rounds you guys are using but while doing shotty tasks I realized AP20 has absolutely bonkers trajectory, at least from what I can see. A lot of times I think I am doming them but it's just a high torso shot.

Idk how I'm going to kill a scav boss when the time comes. My 3rd wipe and I've never gotten a single boss, even doing easy offline runs >:( being ass sucks and cracked ais don't help. Wish I was improving faster than I am, but at least I know that I am learning.

ID: hw331vkyeah and its been elaborated that ai is a low level priority compared to the others since it's not like the game cant run with them the way they are currently. Dont get your hopes up as I think they will be like this for the majority if not all of this wipe.

I'd actually like to see scavs act more like scavengers. Sitting down areas and chilling until aggro, instead of the current iteration where they just sprint back and forth in the same area.

ID: hw3dorgGuns can overheat now, depending on the way you mod them and the type of ammo you use.
It can damage the gun and it's much more likely that you get a malfunction.

Problem is it happens after 15 rounds. Even on like 9MM rifles. And I don’t think you can realistically get a 9Mm suppressor that hot

so we played woods at night, went to swamp area and saw a cultist just standing in a bush going down and up at speeds that would have thoroughly impressed my drill instructor back in bootcamp. We calculated the frames and did some math and it turns out they're doing 8 count bodybuilders at 192 mph.

The best part is that this wasn't that big of a problem until a patch came out with patch notes about fixing ai instaprone... amd now I see this issue ALL THE TIME.

Part of the original December 12th patch notes:
"8. Fixed an issue where bots could instantly move to a crouched position."
What's hilarious is that I never saw a single instance of this ever until BSG "fixed" it.
