Same thing happened to me on shoreline a while back. Felt like a freaking hawk and it really made me appreciate the effort that's been put into vegetation in EFT.

I know this is a one-off bug but this issue in general is becoming more prevalent the last 10-15 years as grass density /foliage has become a graphics "option" and lowering your graphics settings gives you a significant competitive advantage.
They really need to just force High on those settings and lock them from the user.

This happened to me on woods. It was my brothers first ever game of tarkov and I just couldn't understand how he didn't see the scavs drop shotting us on the ground. To me it was as plain as day. I think it was only my second match on woods ever as well so I didn't figure it out until i looked over at his monitor and saw nothing but tall grass everywhere.
