today I played with a duo I duo'd in the last 2 weeks, played quite a lot and did pretty well most of the time. Today we hopped on for a raid, all was good but then I made a mistake that made both of us die. He then flipped on me, got really angry, left the call and deleted me from the friends. I know the logical thing is to just say f him and move on but idk why it hurt me. I know I shouldn't be hurt but I still did, made me not play anymore that day. Might be cringe to read this but just wanted to vent it out.

Yeah, there's going to be mistakes and it's OK to be annoyed, but honestly anyone who reacts like that isn't worth playing with. Try BSG's Discord server, or that of any of the streamers out there any there'll be a ton of people to duo with. Hell, if you're in the Americas, hit me up (I'm US West coast) in a PM.

We need a buff on the buffer tubes for ak platform. You don't gain more recoil control from a modernized buffer tube(RPK buffer tube to be specific) over the polymer stock with a rubber butt pad. With a RPK buffer tube paired with a MOE stock and rubber pad totals out to 37% less recoil(btw the best recoil control for this class of stock) and the polymer stock with rubber butt pad is you guessed it 37% with only 3 less ergo from this setup. Please tell me I'm not the only one that finds this so dumb when they tried buffing the recoil and they forgot this lol.

Anyone who experiencing lags, stutters, low fps after last patch, restart your game after every raid! I guess EFT forgot how to clean used memory after raids, so on second or third raid it's using up to 45gb of ram+pagefile. I've noticed when pagefile gets to 30gb+, the game starts to lag, sound stutters and fps is low. I have 16gb of ram and 3060ti and have to restart game every raid. Sad 🙁

Implementing these bitcoin nerfs mid-wipe straight up only punishes players who haven't reached end-game.
Grinded all the way to intelligence center before realizing that it just isn't worth it to get a farm anymore.
Now I was excited that I was getting 2 bitcoin from a task and oh great they got nerfed 20% with a bigger nerf coming. Thanks Devs, making the game really enjoyable for new players. Can we fucking wipe again already?

Seems like out of no where sometime last week I started getting some screen tearing.. I'll be at 130 frames but it just doesnt feel as smooth, I dunno, hard to explain. I have all my settings to Panjo's optimization settings from his youtube video. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Ammo over 50 pen should be found in raid only. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE would benefit from this. Edit: Player will be able to determine the price of the ammo in a organic way for example the new ap. They added new ap ammo found in raid only and it started off absurdly price by players at first but it has level out at the 4k-5k mark. Depending on how readily available it is will vary the price significantly. It would encourage more top loading and conservation of top tier ammo and lead to longer fire fights ie more fun fights, armor would become more useful(other then scav or player scav deterrents) and it will be a better game overall.
ID: gtatrxnEveryone but low levels trying to kill high level players. If your ammo doesn't pen you just tickle them for 1hp, even though the kinetic energy stopped by the vest would have you shitting blood.
ID: gtawrjvWhen they actually have blunt damage in the game is gonna change everything. Like I had the idea that having blunt damage being tide to the pen value and the armor class for example. Being shot by ap 6.3(only 30 pen and 53 damage) should deal more blunt damage for someone wearing armor class 4 (maybe take the damage stat of the bullet and reduced it to 20% for blunt damage which will bring the damage down to 10.6). At that amount of damage it would take 9 consecutive shots to the chest to kill(if all bullets don't pen). Any other armor class higher could have the damage reduced by 10% instead. You can still tank but this ammo type is still a threat(with this example the ammo would only deal around 5 damage and take 18 shots to chest to kill with no pen). Very simplistic math but you get the gist

Is it 100% RNG?
Or does the game actually look at the angle of the bullet vs the surface of the helmet hitbox?ID: gtdq7iuAngle and hit boxes are prerequisites for the game to roll for a ricochet. I am unsure whether angle differences change the ricochet chance multiplier

You know those moments when you take a shot and think "there's no way that worked" and move on? Yeah I had one of those last night I'm still thinking about. Went to resort mid-raid to check in at tape-room for a quest, saw a blur on a balcony second floor and sent one suppressed 7.62BP up and assumed I was signing my own death warrant so I dinged the quest and booked it out of there. Exit the raid and lo-and-behold... ???? - USEC - ???? staring at me. Pretty sure that guy was the winner of the 10 minutes of grenade wars I heard before heading up there and was fat as fuck. Shoulda checked!

I love Tarkov. Rought past couple of days though. I've been one tapped by scavs on every good raid I've had close to extraction. I don't think I've survived a raid in the last 15 raids. I'm so close to bitcoin farm, but I'm close to broke because of my dumbass dying. Hopeful for better raids soon.

Is anyone else getting massive performance drops after the last couple of small updates? After 12.10 dropped, I turned on MIP streaming and I saw a great boost to performance, even on maps like reserve. But now after the last couple of small tweaks like last nights down time, my game has absolutely tanked. Also hearing ghost footsteps every 10 seconds where before I didn't hear it once. Not sure if its just me.

Still trying to figure out the dealer timer. 5 minutes to go for the BTC, I refresh once and it skips forward. I wait about 3 minutes refresh, skips forward a few seconds. Under 1 minute, I refresh, it goes back to 3 minutes. Then the bitcoin barter appears for a split second before sold out, timer refreshes back to 2 hours.
I know I have zero chance of getting it but why are the timers so inaccurate?

I have a question about the loot pool. I had a crazy ass scav run and got some really nice loot. I was looting a hidden stash in customs and found a class 6 armor. I'm just level 4 so I'm pretty stoked about that. Is this actually possible or did someone just insure the armor and put it in the hidden stash hoping no one would find it?

ID: gtc4qe6There is a little tick on the icon for items on the bottom right hand corner if they are found in raid. If a player brings an item in and drops it, it won’t have that tick when you pick it up. So check fir the tick to know if the game spawned it or someone brought it into raid.
But yes, hidden stashes can have anything (or pretty much anything in them)

Over this past weekend Ive noticed scavs seems to not properly render the gear they're wearing on thier 3d models at a distance? Let's alone their proper model?
Few instances where I've seen what looks like a hatchling (naked bear PMC model at a glance) only to either have gear render onto them as I get closer, or I kill them and find their body/models actually wearing stuff.
Is it just a matter of bsg not having low LoD versions of certain items when worn by scavs or just a weird bug?
Logically I think this may only pertain to clothing items, nothing with gameplay aspects (hats, cloth masks, etc).
But there was one moment last night where I was fairly close to a Scav at shoreline town, he was bald, had a backpack, gun. I shot him a few times but didn't kill him. He didn't aggro, instead running away around the side of the building. I round the corner and find a totally different looking Scav wearing a mask different backpack. Kill him. Original Scav 100% vanished. Searched everywhere. Wonder if the game loaded wrong assets. Or I'm crazy.
Anyone have similar accounts in 12.10?

Anyone having like almost no dynamic (footsteps , equipment etc.) audio with face shields ? I've been having fine sound this entire patch but when I put one on just now I could barely hear*.
also the environment and gun sounds are fine

I think I misunderstand something about armor and bullet pen. I was wearing a class 5 armor (korund) but was killed by flechette to the thorax. The chart I use says flechette only pens up to class 3.
ID: gtejgdcFlechette nukes armor. Not a lot of actual pen but the armor damage and lots of projectiles can quickly zero a lot of armor. Armor protection chance decreases as durability decreases.
ID: gtela8bNot to mention the korund has pretty bad durability, doesn’t take much to zero a korund. I run the korund very often and even scavs can half my armor with a couple shots

Anyone else suffering from stutters and frame drops like it was several wipes ago? All of a sudden since Saturday I've been getting them and it's really annoying.

Is memory usage in task manager supposed to hover 90%+ while playing this game? Even with nothing else active?

Frankly it's more insulting when I get back my gun on insurance and all the attachments were stripped than if they just took the gun lmao

ID: gtabr23I started in the middle of the wipe last time. Imo there's no issue getting into the game at any point during the wipe. In some ways it's easier at this point. Everything you need early on is cheap, all the keys are cheap, decent gear off the flea is cheaper, etc. You'll run into a lot of geared players but you can also avoid them if needed. Players don't hang out in the raid for as long at this point so later in the raid is fairly safe for doing quests.
