Imagine how amazing this game would be like with csgo level netcode.
for that to happen we need devs that know how to make a game that's server side and not in unity. BSG can do neither of those things
Also there’s a lot more calculations going on in tarkov than there is in csgo(armor level ammo pen dmg velocity etc)
This game could literally be S tier.
Desync is just so fucking demoralizing because you have that 1/2 second of thinking “yeah I’m safe!” before the Igolnik curves around the corner and hits you square in the brainbox

Well kinda hard after you bought the game lol - and if I'm 110% I don't think they'd give a flying fuck if all of us left the game. I bet they'd celebrate and start making another game and leave this one be and completely disregard everyone who bought EoD. I wish I didn't think this anymore, but 5 years of being hopeful has it's tolls. I'll wait for this to "finish" in 2030 at this rate, and that's not even that far off with how long it takes them to make a map and implement it, let alone the lack of progress made on netcode.
The people that give nuanced critique and then hard bash really really stupid decisions (like this megathread) are the ones that actually care about the game.
Just because someone voices dissent doesn't mean they *hate* the product. But at the end of the day, it's just that; a product. If BSG doesn't want critique, then they have no business being in early access or open beta or whatever the fuck they want to call it so that they can sell the game without finishing it without having any of the responsibility of an actual completed product, as is extremely common in the gaming industry.
That said, a megathread is not an issue with the devs. It's an issue with the mods of this subreddit half-censoring valid issues with something that is a very prevalent problem and has been for ***years.*** No developer really gives a shit about megathreads; they *DO* care about the main subreddit to their game being utterly filled with complaints about a problem in the game because that's negative publicity. But that isn't going to occur with a megathread because the whole point of a megathread is to prevent that (don't give me "consolidating a topic" bullshit or whatever; reddit formating doesn't support that notion and never has).

Love this shit, a game they deem worthy of 140.00 yet there constant threads about bugs, desync etc. Kicker Iis everyone pays 140 for more little squares and fucking trader to some fictional fucking morons. Game is slowly killing its self.

what's new? do we really need a mega thread for an issue that's been a staple of the game since release? how about a cheater mega post? how about a mega post about how cheaters are profiting off your game and ruining the game for everyone else involved.
They do this so the sub isn't filled up with complaints, which keeps people who come here from thinking the game is 1000% shit, so the cycle can continue.
it IS filled with complaints though, and a big bold green title at the top of the subreddit saying "Desync And Server Issues Megathread: Week 3" is more visually noticeable than 10 more rants on /new. If a complete newcomer went to check out this subreddit and the second thing they saw was a megathread dedicated for server issues they'd go "damn, so this game has trash servers then"

I’m having wicked stuttering issues. The second a fire fight breaks out the game is almost unplayable. (Playing from Canada)
I'm not sure if this fits here, but why the hell does my game freeze up when I'm being shot? Hearing the shots and stuttering for seconds is the worst way to die. I literally cannot fight back.
Rip this game huh. I guess 2k hours was worth the 140 I paid but still, big sad.

I got kicked 2 times and at the second time I lost all my stuff. Even my stuff in my beta container aren't marked as found in raid anymore...
manually select the servers in the launcher, auto selection can be sus at times

half the time i get into a firefight with other players, barely any shots i fire get counted as hits despite dumping magazine after magazine into these guys. literally just got out of a raid where i pegged a dude in the face with buckshot at point-blank, but the after-action report stated i only got like 4 hits out of it. it's like the only way to succeed is to have the fastest firing gun so you can put more rounds down faster before desync forces the bullets into the wall next to them.
this games server problems are beyond atrocious and every raid, whether i win or lose i want to fucking uninstall. having to fight not only other people but the game is ridiculous. god i'm fucking angry.
Comments which do not describe specific issues and are just cynical people who already quit, should be removed as outside of the scope of this thread.
Took a break from tarkov. Just fought a dude in black pawn. Magdumped him point blank in the chest with vector 7n31. Took all 50 rounds to kill him. I might be back in a few more weeks to see how Nikitas “best they’ve ever been” servers are doing
Also nothing to do with the servers. But, vertical audio is WAY to strong now. My teammates shouldn’t hear my picking up loot through 3 floors. I preferred the broken 0 audio vertically. I can’t tell if people are next to me, on the roof or in the basement.
I keep getting the fucking high packets loss shit and can't play the game it kicks me every raid. I've lost a bit of money now because of it

This game has become literally unplayable for me.
Either I get DCed after joining a fresh game, the game crashes while loading ( and crashing EVERYTHING alongside with it, like Spotify, Browser etc).

Just came here to say that the game is dog shit. I can play 1 customs before the ram is overloaded. If i want to PVP solo there is no possible way to survive one raid cuz if duos and me sucking duck. Bought more ram memory so i would not have to restart the fucking game between every single raid is this a joke?
Do i even have to mention the fucking spawns?

Yea I can play any game with no problems in terms of Ram usage. Tarkov takes up more ram on my pc than Warzone with tarkov getting up to 10-11 gb of ram, which should just never happen. Not too mention the servers are terrible DCs are pretty consistent and the Desync is awful
year 3 bruh more like year 5 at this point. shit happens while even on a LAN xD
