Kill 5 players while bleeding, dehydrated, no armor, and flash banged by shooting water and producing ricochets in a single match

Shooter born in hell, amirite

Don't give them any ideas lol

Seriously. After watching the video i immediately thought that jeager was gonna annoy me even more with these annoying kill quests.

It’s gonna be hitting the ground under the water and coming back out right

ID: h0ptsm7

It would be slowing to a stop in the water as soon as it broke the surface

ID: h0pz181

Mmm I jus meant in the game. I know it wouldn’t do it irl.

Man it would be nice to have the slide stay racked back until you insert the mag and hit the slide release like in real life so you don't have to rack the slide AFTER you put the mag in

ID: h0q68wq

Yup. I don't know what's causing that bug, it started happening after the last patch.

I noticed too when I was testing out my m4 build.

It's not ricochet, it's fragmenting because it's actually really soft bullet and at that speed, hitting water is like hitting concrete(plus the angle you're shooting helps that also).

If only tarkov was this realistic lmao. This is like powerscaling onepiece

Rip rounds can't fragment in game

For some reason only rounds with a penetration value above 20 can fragment in Tarkov and RIP rounds have a penetration value of like 5

I guess the reason they ricochet is that they have a high ricochet chance compared to the other other rounds used in this clip and that water is programmed like a surface same as metal, concrete or wood which probably also have designated ricochet values and for some reason the water ricochet value isn't zero like it should be.

I don't know why you were downvoted, but then again, I'm not surprised. Most players still have no idea. Your explanation was spot on though.

Rip rounds aren't soft? They're just designed to fragment upon impact.

ID: h0qh8ej

"they are designed to fragment upon impact"... and how would you design a chunk of metal to do that? You take a piece of soft metal(i.e copper) and you put gashes in it to make it fragment easier and however much you want it to fragmentate then you load it up in a shell. EZ PZ.

Yes, they are soft. You can literally bite the bullet in half with your teeth(pls dont do this tho).

They're fragmenting the second they hit the waters surface, weird

if it were just ricochet then you wouldn't have 5+ splashes on the water from a single shot, it's almost like the round explodes

You were also mostly only shooting in one spot on the 2nd mag unlike the first where you went in different spots almost every shot.

And ADS vs hip fire.
