Few days ago I protected a guy as I was waiting my turn spammed "wanna cooperate" a few times so he knew I was there, killed a PMC who turned the corner. Fucker finished his task and just shot me.

The PMC agreed, but midway through the task the rat turned and shot the PMC. When asked why, the rat said "I cannot help it. It is in my nature."

ID: h4af3xrthere is a simple trick for this quest. bring a decent weapon into raid, kill all PMCs spawned at this side of factory and then do your shit without any interruption. even if you die once, it will be way faster than doing this hatchling bs and hoping other players have mercy.

ID: h49q1kjhad to deposit the gunpowder in factory night today, first raid i go in with decent gear and run up calling cease fire. guy behind me shoots and i run along the way to the other side, while hearing someone deposit shit. so me and the other guy have a standoff and i try to hold him off as long as i can (or kill, but i suck :D). worked until i got hit hard and had to leave to heal. later i heard shots and now i wonder if the dude got it done or not, because i died too and will never know what happened

I had a guy walk up on me in the same situation. I started furiously head shaking "no". He flipped me off. He waited. I finished the repair. I headbobbed "yes" a few times. He shot me in the face.
I paid it forward yesterday when I rushed into Delivery from the Past to find someone had beat me there. I waited. He kept placing. He pulled out his gun. I shot him in the face.

ID: h4agj83You only need to do an extraction afterwards but it can happen in a subsequent raid and the item still remains placed.
ID: h4ah2cbAfaik, once you've planted, you just need to have survived and extracted on factory before - or you can come back later and extract and it will still count.
Every time I've finished planting, it ususally gives me a 'mission complete' popup, letting me know I can hand it in, even though I had yet to extract. Might've changed though, I still haven't done it this wipe.

ID: h49bib9Actually best way to do it I found is night raids. If you spawn there you can wait behind the box till the other person runs out or away. Also smoke grenades surprisingly
ID: h49mpu6I don't think I've ever actually seen a smoke grenade in use during a raid, or used one other than throwing it at a scav to see if it did damage lol
