Are any of the final fantasy games on the Nintendo switch worth playing? I've never played a final fantasy game before and they look interesting.

Pretty much every FF is worth playing. The generally suggested one to start with is X, since it still works like a classic FF but is a bit more modern with voice acting and better graphics etc. But you can start with any of them if another one interests you more. The games do not share a story or universe, except for direct sequels like X-2.

I'm excited for the FFVI pixel remaster's soundtrack. I always loved Cyan's theme the most so I'm really looking forward to hearing the new rendition. What song is everyone else looking forward to?

Terra's theme, easly one of my favorites.

You have to buy it separately.

So Google has proven to be surprisingly fruitless. Can anyone tell me what the damage calculation for ????'s love is in FF4 3D remake? (I.e. how much each cover contributes to it).

thinking of starting off my first ff game with ff8 my reasons are i hear its good but its the one thats caught my attention the most, i want to know if i should play it on steam port, or the remaster or even just better off emulating it and also if its strongly advised that this one is possibly a really bad one for someone to start off with

There is no bad FF to start with, but just realize they are all different. Of the PS1 generation FF8 is the least liked and the most divisive.

Personally I'd just play the original release, as I didn't like the quality of the remaster. The PC version is also pretty janky, and the remaster is built on that.

So I'd just emulate it. Duckstation is a great PS1 emulator, or you can use a PSP, Vita, or PS3.

In FFX BB game why does Tidus just sit there, never moving? Is there something I am suppose to do? When I move up with the ball carrier, he sits in one spot. When we are on defense he sits there. How do I get Tidus to move?

Edit: spelling

Solved: Just uninstalling and reinstalling, solved the issue.

Last year, I decided I wanted to play through as many Final Fantasy games as I possibly could. Since last January, I have completed 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 9, as well as Crisis Core and have slowly been playing through FF7 Remake.

I have access to all of the games, just completed FF3, and am not sure which game I want to move onto next. I have not been playing them in any particular order but I am not sure which of the following three I want to tackle next, 2, 8, or 12.

Who were Weiss and Nero in the Intermission.

Characters from Dirge of Cerberus.

Playing through FF7 now. Why does the gang leave Midgar anyways? Like I don't understand what their goal is

it seems like they just left bc they had nothing better to do

They want to chase Sephiroth.

Is the FFVII remake PS5 version (you upgrade to with physical disc of ps4) the same as intergrade without the dlc? Like the graphics will be the same as intergrade?

ID: hqopa01

Yes, it's the exact same.

Hey guys, I'm thinking on buying one of the PS1 FF Games on Steam, but I'm quite undecisive.

I've played IX before, up to Disc 2. I played VII Remake and know the story of the original, and I've never played VIII and know very little about it but I've heard it's the weakest title besides II.

I plan on doing a Platinum gameplay (getting all achievements), and I'm looking for which of these three has the most side content, has the most diverse cast in terms of mechanics, has most interesting boss battles and overall, needs less RNG to progress into the endgame. I'm aware of IX's Ozma and VIII Magic Draw system.

Thanks in advance.
