Forget about the times and just shoot for 13 balloons or more and 1 hit only or no hits. If you get that it ends up with 0.0.0. Also, some runs have more balloons at the beginning than others and those are the ones that are more reasonable after you have gotten good at it. Also, it’s important to get in front of the trainer and to stay in front all the way; it’s probably easier to use the D-pad rather than the stick; and it might help to know that if you are doing a really fast run the wave of birds at the end of the second turn (close to the monster arena) won’t hit you, it just flies over you instead of hitting you.

wtf I didn't even know that could happen. The trainer is... terrible. She makes almost no effort to dodge the birds. I didn't know she could get even a semi-decent time.

The game is just mocking you at this point.

Okay so here’s what can help:

Do 2-3 runs in a row where you literally take 1.5-2 minutes to finish

The next run after that should give you a very easy run.

I’ve heard about this theory but only tested it once, got my best run ever however

I got very lucky on my run.

It just felt like I did the same thing over and over for half an hour and then it worked

I also did this recently and succeeded after about an hour and a half. Wasn't as bad as the butterfly or lightning dodger mini games for me.
