I love light the stoic, anti social, moody protagonists tend to be my favorites because Cloud and Squall also are two of my favs.

She’s my favorite protagonist in the series, easily. Even with her butchered personality in the sequels.
Though to be fair I haven’t finished FFVI.

I like Lightning, but she's not even my fav character from FFXIII. Though... boy she is a super badass. I love the way she moves in combat, it's so cool!
I think Yuna is my favorite protagonist in FF.

Ugh i so very much wanted to like lightning but i cant, i really can't like her. I only played the first game but in that game her character development feels too forced, and i hated her do much in the first half of the game. I hated how she treated snow and i especially hated the way she treated serah, her own frickin sister, and her reason for treating her that way just doesnt make sense to me. Like if i lost my parents and i got a sibling to take care of, i would do anything to protect them, not scold them or even worse, outright shunned them for something that isnt even their fault

She's my favorite female protagonist/character on the Franchise for sure.
Females: Lightning Farron > Y'Shtola > Fran.
Males: Zack Fair > Balthier > Cecil Harvey.
Villains: Emet-Selch > Caius Ballad > Ardyn Izunia.

I'm of the opinion FF13 in general was pretty good, other than some really really dumb design choices, I felt it had one of the stronger casts for a FF game and I enjoyed the world design. FF13-2 was absolute garbage all the way through, except for Noel, who's alright. Lightning Returns is one of my favorite games Period.

Without trying to rank her against other characters I will just say that I really like Lightning as a character and think she's a great protagonist.

Not really. I love XIII but not because of Lightning. She's fine, I like her, but there's not much to her. Serah was way more interesting in the sequel.

She has a great personal development, not to mention she is quite a badass. She is one of my favorites, along with squall and zidane.
