It’s short but pretty cool combat. It’s very FromSoft inspired. I recommend it I think it’s fairly cheap

Huge souls fan but wasn’t into mortal shell at all personally. It felt sorta like a really streamline souls game as far as combat went but without much variety, less appealing lore and atmosphere, and boring level design IMO. It basically omitted my favorite parts of souls games and focused on my least favorite parts. At the end of the day, it’s a short, inexpensive indie game so I wasn’t expecting it to be jam packed with content, but it just didn’t do it for me. Worth a playthrough if you like the Souls series and combat especially but it didn’t live up to the hype for me. I do think it has a lot of potential so if they release a more fleshed out sequel I’ll definitely play it, but as is it wasn’t a game I particularly enjoyed or recommend. Just my take, a lot of people enjoyed it, but I figured I’d give my opinion since most of the other people in this thread had a more positive opinion of it.

I loved it and played through twice. It's like dark souls 1 atmosphere. The visuals are great but in other areas its clearly a smaller budget indie game. As a souls fan it is a must have title.

I'm hoping I don't owe taxes this year, heard a lot of people do from being on Unemployment all year and not being allowed to have taxes fully deducted (depending on the state, it seems).
