I would be satisfied if CD was a little shorter

ID: hs3h0rfWhat I mean is beyond the animation difference, your suggestion for impale would essentially be a clone of what earthquake already is:
Damage in a linear path that also interrupts any enemies it hits.

well impale can be a totem buff, give 100% to devastator ans 30% to others, armor piercing and anomaly, no need a target to cast

They have extremely cool impale skill but it is just not viable.

I do like this upgrade but I will say any advice I give to Devastators is to not sleep on impale
It is absolutely brutal and has been a cornerstone of my AP Dev build

This. A million times over this.
The only reason I like my AP pyro builds more is that their skill rotations are so much more fluid having similar low cool downs. 3 skills under 6 seconds each or 2 under 6 and one at 7.5 sec is awesome.
Edit; AP Juggernaut is still my favourite overall though. I just wish the skill rotation could match my pyromancer. Then again, pyromancer can be killed…. Devastator only if I royally F up or stop paying attention all together.
