ID: gq4ng32STEM themed Legos are always great! I have a six year old daughter who switches between wanting to be an astronaut or a wildlife biologist (my profession), so we try to buy her any STEM Legos we can. They've been doing a great job making female STEM minifigures recently!

ID: gq4n3i8I have not - I just finished it for our monthly meeting yesterday (like I was literally scrambling to finish it 15 minutes before the Zoom call), and I also am not happy with how the cloud looks/how fragile it is. So some reworking would be required before I'd even consider it! And honestly, I just like sharing and interacting with the community.

So many small details, the open dresser drawer, the unique kids bed with floor rug. Karaoke machine, BB-8 lamp...what did I miss? 🙂
ID: gq4gp5rIs it the D-O droid that looks like a karaoke machine? If so, you give me too much credit for being that creative! I'd say you found most of the details. I was also going for a slighty turned-down blanket effect with the raised tiles towards the top of the bed (below the pillow).
I love making slightly raised rugs using this technique, which I first learned from building the Central Perk set.

This is going to seem like a weird thing to fixate on but I absolutely freaking love the dresser to the left. The open shelf is priceless. Is that a window?

ID: gq5d3u0Yes, it's a 2x2 window (it actually has a lattice window pane in it). It only works from this perspective though, because the window extends back into the dresser and you would see that from the left side. Could potentially be okay if you had a window frame that matched the dresser color.

I love all the details you put into this. For some silly reason I really love the ladders used as vertical blinds for the window.
ID: gq5pau8Glad you like it! I can't take credit for the idea for the vertical blinds - I saw it on a MOC by Jonas Kramm. I initially tried making curtains but they were conflicting with the lamp and statue on the desk.

ID: gq6826uThanks! The airplane girl minifigure from the current CMF was actually what sparked the idea for the whole thing. Originally was going to be a plane she was dreaming of, but my daughter loves space so changed it to a shuttle.

Would suggest a black and starry or planet background in the dream cloud. I know they fly through the air first, but...space. Anyway, that’s just a suggestion, great build.
ID: gq5b4id100% agree with you. I wanted to have a black interior for the cloud both so it looked like space and to contrast with the white of the shuttle, I just unfortunately don't have enough black bricks and I didn't wanted to use studded plates.

Thanks! I wanted it to look like the shuttle from the Lego Mars Research Shuttle 60226, hence the orange bits.
