Not having transmog is a massive oversight, also making the legendary gear sets mostly shit so you don't even want to wear them is an even bigger one.

As they are now the only pieces that seem to be worth it, if at all, are the head chest and pants in most of the sets since the boots and gloves seem to always have attributes that don't match with the rest.
All the gear sets need to be massively reworked in my opinion.

I use the chrono helm pants and gloves average 300m a game. Pretty tanky i can keep up with really good devs usually ct 15 gold.
ID: gx3j4pcWhat is this average damage per game metric? Compared to what? Compared to other builds that may or not be good in your party? There is a limited amount of damage. Every build will do approximately the same amount in single player.

There is so much potential for this game but all the bugs, server issues, an oversight like no transmog just holds it back. Feels like we're beta testers for Outriders 2 lol. I'll give PCF this, the legendary sets look badass. It's a shame some of them are not worth using.

ID: gx3q1emI respectfully disagree. It looks goofy as shit running around sans helmet with almost the exact same face and haircut as half the other players. Even solo, no helmet just looks off considering the rest of the gear. All the helmets look better than no helmet IMO.

I was hoping the legendary armor to be well....legendary and its not even close. Ugakes really only has the Cowl mod, same with Future. The Chrono looks cool but again really the pants are worse half of the mods you need to keep your rounds up in co-op play. Trickster has imo the coolest skills but the weakest respect to its legendary armor sets.

ID: gx3ixk5I stopped playing for the opposite reason. And I play to try builds, which you can't really do either. Carrot players ruin any game they overpopulate.

Nobody is stopping you from trying any solo build out you want. Nobody is stopping you from trying out any co-op build you want, they're simply not going out of their way to help you, nor should they.

To be fair, compared to most other RPGs and looters I've played, most mix & matched sets don't actually look that ridiculous in this game.
It probably has more to do with the neutral color palette than the actual gear style naturally matching. But i don't think it looks too terrible. Admittedly I've never really been too concerned about my character's cosmetic appearance anyway.

I'm only level 15 and I've already noticed anything over blue tier weapons are a waste of time at this point because I simply can't afford the upgrades because of the lack of titanium.

ID: gx3hcvoDon’t upgrade shit until endgame. No point. Just use the highest drops you get.
ID: gx3s84bDon't bother upgrading until you're at expeditions, and even then it's most efficient to grind for blues or even greens with the right attribute rolls for what you want and then upgrade them to your level then upgrade the rarity. The cost becomes astronomical at endgame to upgrade purple gear at CT15 so IMHO it isn't worth it unless it's absolutely perfect rolled for your build

I don’t understand why more games don’t take the DCU approach (I’m sure there are others but that’s what I know) they let u keep the stats of your equipped armor but let u choose any pieces you’ve collected as an appearance.

Man. I’ve been rocking Ugake set for Trickster. I highly recommend other tricksters give it a shot. It’s great for rounds builds. And the synergies with the t3 hunt the prey ammo mod is most excellent. But holy shit Ugake pieces look awful. My dude looks like a Scotsman who’s been marooned on an island. The cronosuit looks awesome and is functional. But in the end, it seems like the absolute best is having the mods and putting them on the right epics. Which thankfully don’t look anything like Ugake’s pieces.

Transmog would be great.. or a method to change up what the additional stats like Max Health, Long Range Damage, Anomaly Energy, etc... are on an item rather than having to keep grinding until getting not just the item you want but one with the stats you want too.

I like the legendary armour sets, they fit the story really well. What I mean is, you are stranded on an alien planet with gear that is half worn out and combined with alien tech, so it kind of makes sense that it looks the way it does. I personally like the look of it, it is very wasteland warrior style.

In any game that has gear that affects our stats, some version of transmog needs to be in the game at launch or the first update. It’s insanely insulting that devs think this isn’t an important system to games, especially when your in 3rd person view and always see your character.

I found the armor in the game mildly disappointing, looks-wise. Purples make me feel like I'm wearing a side of beef, and legendaries are just kind of blah.

Can you imagine if this game had transmog? Transmog an item to look like something and 1/10 times it actually changes into that thing. But takes a month to get sorted.
