Also just as possible that they had planned to announced wayyyy to early no matter what.
ID: hgwgtfk“Cautiously looking forward” describes my thoughts exactly. Not really any fault of Rocksteady, but seeing as how the Avengers game was so poor and the upcoming Guardians game already looks pretty mediocre, any co-op superhero game makes me a bit worried these days.

Atm I'm more hyped for this than for suicide squad, but mostly because the trailer for suicide squad did nothing for me. Need to see gameplay finally.
ID: hgwbty8I actually I'm oposite The Suicide Game had me hyped after seeing more Justice League, and a batmobile? That had me intrigued Don't get me wrong, the rockesteady stories from Arkahm games had me glued to the screen, and court of owls looks dope and super interesting Nonetheless I guess Suicide Squad was more hype with stuff blowing up and shit, but not having gameplay yet has me concerned

What kind of game is this? Is it going to be action/adventure like the arkham games?
ID: hgw836cIt's like the Arkham games but this one can also be played co-op and you choose between 4 playable characters: Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood.

I’m just hoping there’s enough variety to the the enemies. If they go hard into the Court of Owls story and all you fight are versions of the Talons it could get very meh very quickly.
If they can vary the design and mechanics enough it might work but the best thing about the Bat Family and Gotham is the diversity and uniqueness of the Rogues Gallery. To just have one type of “thug” and no real centerpiece villains it’ll be a big disappointment.

ID: hgwrw4yThe last time we saw this game they showed off a boss fight with Mr. Freeze so I’m willing to bet we’ll get a diverse set of bosses, the Talons, and your average thugs that we saw too. And from the Arkham games (I know this isn’t Rocksteady but still) there was diversity within the thugs, especially towards the end of Arkham Knight with healers, more tech focused enemies, and the basic grunts.
I do hope that the missions and enemies are varied enough that we need to utilize each hero, while having solid enough design that we don’t need to pick a specific hero for a specific mission, if that makes sense.

I forgot this game existed. Was it delayed? Or did they just show footage to early before?
Also is it PS5/Xbox Series enhanced or is it still last gen?
ID: hgwglqsYeah it was delayed. It was originally out this year. Now it’s just a vague 2022.

ID: hgx1bmuSame. That’s why Arkham knight didn’t gel with me very much, I had no idea who that character is. I don’t mind though, like with Arkham knight they specifically said it was for the fans. So the whole bat-family deal is more for those who read the comics and keep up with the stories

Wtf is wb as a whole even doing anymore? Rocksteady and wb Montreal spending years on cancelled concepts and taking years to finally get out the games they do end up making. Monolith has gone 4 years without any activity. And hogwarts legacy seems like vapourware at this point.
