Can anyone please help me to figure out what kind of rx 580 brand this is? I looked up on gpu-z but is shows a different card as seen on the last picture.

That moment when you discover brands that you haven't heard of in a decade.

I have a Kinology branded Rx580 2048sp. Been using it for 3 years. Apparently these (Yeston included) brands sell only in China. But you can find some on Aliexpress.

Visiontek used to be a pretty common brand in the United States. Disappeared about 10 years or so ago. My first ever gaming gpu was an Visiontek Ati Radeon 9600xt with 256mb of ram.

Thank you. But I'm a bit confused as gpu-z shows it is a yeston gameace.

ID: hgs31u7

It was no doubt made by the same manufacturer, which is neither Visiontek nor Yeston.

Probably the same/similar.

Lol. Price on that page for that is $500 right now. Geez

Time flies so fast. Lol

Geil RX 580 also have the same casing but with geil sticker on the fan.

GPU-X knows what’s up. Did you get the card from What does GPU-Z say it is?

ID: hgrhxt1

GPU z does not always know what's up, it misidentifies my EVGA 770.

ID: hgril63

I see, I think it misidentifies my card too. Thank you!

ID: hgu8s4x

Well did you ever think that maybe GPUz respects what your EVGA 770 identifies as?

ID: hguj3ps

GPUz is almost always correct, to the point of identifying incorrect cores in fake GPUs.

ID: hgrhfq3

I get it from a marketplace here at my country. Gpu-z shows a yeston rx 580 gameace.

ID: hgritkv

yeston is china AIB partner? that as far as i can tell.

ID: hguc9ln

It could be a few things. Maybe an RX 480 with a 580 bios flash? The pictures of Yestons that I could find don’t look like this.

Looks like a Visiontek card, I could be wrong though

ID: hgrw3hx

Yeah, i looked it up and its identical

ID: hgtk1o3

Yeah, but gpu-z identifies it as a yeston card.

It says "caution HOT" and I think that is adorable

6 : Anonymous2021/10/15 19:48 ID: hgs0vgf

It’s a China card. As others have said, I do think Visiontek makes it.

These were all over AliExpress for $100-150 when the crypto crash happened.

This looks like XFX fans and housing to me

ID: hgu2ot1

I have a XFX 580 and it does not look like this one at all

ID: hgv1owm

I was just going off the styling of the xfx 570 but now that I’m not half asleep that doesn’t look like xfx anymore
