ID: hh867poI picked up the game on sale a while ago on steam and after 20 hours I put it down because I just wasn't feeling it. I've been told many times I should give it another go and I've been considering after this new update drops I'll start over fresh and actually dedicate to it.

ID: hh7rvibThis game will benefit a lot from the SSD, the load times on my PS4 were far too long.
ID: hh8iu8wEven in backwards compatible plus mode it's incredible. I'm playing on the Series X, and the load times are instant (under 1 second) for everything. A locked 4K60 as well. I'm sure it plays similarly on the PS5.
This all being said, I'm waiting for the next gen version to start my second play through.

For those in the know, usually how long does it take from the moment a game gets rated to the actual release date?
Reason for me asking is because I know it takes a bit of time between these "milestones" (although I see another post claiming it would come today which is totally unexpected), I know CDPR announced the next gen versions of both W3 and CP2077 to come in late 2021 and I know they also said the marketing campaigns for future releases would begin much closer to the actual release.
If indeed the game comes soon(ish), we cam still hope for the next gen version of CP2077 this year as well. Right, right? -...-
Well for context witcher 3 for switch was rated 5 days before release. It will likely come soon.
Just bought the PS4 version for $9.99 on sale a couple days ago, will wait for the free upgrade before playing.
Please release before the end of this year! Would be such a nice game to play over the holidays
They'll definitely want it out by the time Netflix releases the second season in December.
There’s also some free DLC related to the TV show so it would make even more sense to release around the same time as the show!

Once a game is rated, it's usually released within a couple months.

Still no sign of a next gen Cyberpunk, which i bought the Ps4 version, and never played yet waiting for the upgrade to Ps5.

They said Q4 2021 for Cyberpunk next gen upgrade. So you can safely assume June of next year.
I love how the game went from Reddit darling to public enemy #1 in a span of several weeks. I also pre-ordered because of hype/FOMO and won't bother playing the game until the PS5 upgrade is released. Never again man.
Cyberpunk 2077 is super anachronistic, it superficially looks next gen but everything else in the game, including the AI, is vintage. What a piece of art!!
