ID: hhu5pg3They could do what they did with Lara Croft, with multiple appearances as different styles. Classic and modern Lara are vastly different and could have easily been sold separately, but were included together (along with low-poly Lara).
I’d imagine Uncharted trilogy Nate (they could make him look like a PS3 character like with Lara or it could just be a matter of clothes), Uncharted 4 Nate (blue shirt), and movie Nate.
Maybe they will not make movie Nate. Keep in mind they don’t have to release a character for any given reason. MANY Fortnite crossovers exist without an upcoming game, movie, show… to promote. The opposite is true as well, but Kratos (recruited as a bounty hunter by a Fortnite character along with many characters from other universes) and Aloy weren’t released alongside their upcoming games or anything else. That being said, I believe Aloy was released around the time of the “Forbidden West” State of Play.
We could very well see Nate in Fortnite a period before the release of the movie. It’s been a while since a PlayStation character was added to Fortnite.
For a glider, I would so love the Hog Wild or, somehow, the falling cargo from the U3 plane. No idea how they could make that work, but I’d love it.

ID: hhux216Based on my line of work, the other hobbies I’m into, and I’ve been told even based on the way I look - you’d likely never guess playing Fortnite is a huge passion of mine. It always fascinates me when I watch someone’s opinion of me change in real-time when they discover I play a “kid’s game” or when I suddenly become a lot cooler because they didn’t know I’m “cracked at BR.”
It makes me sad that Fortnite is used as a social divider for a lot of folks, but hey, fuck em’ - can’t hear the based judgment over clicking these heads in Cube Town.

It’s clearly meant to be “kid friendly” then you have people like Ninja being the face of the game and I’m totally assuming based on the random clips I’ve seen of him but he seems annoying. Combine that with the fact that a large amount of the player base is literally children and it makes a lot of sense. Also “content” like MLK being in the game? Come on.
I personally don’t give a shit, I have friends close to 30 who still play it and I don’t feel the need to say anything just because I don’t like the game and what it stands for, but it makes a lot of sense as to why people perceive it as being childish.

ID: hhu845iAvid Fortnite player here with $100s in skins. I spend $20 on skins, because I LIKE THE SKIN. Epic doesn’t hold a gun to my head. the skin offers no competitive advantage. it’s just that I enjoy the game so I don’t have a problem supporting it PLUS I get to play as something I really dig because Epic has just about everything in Fortnite. if it brings you happiness and you aren’t overdoing it, I see no issue in treating yourself to a $20 skin here and there that you’re going to get hours upon hours of enjoyment from using.

The RE8 and RE3Make alternate skins are a nice touch. Honestly there have been so many excellent skins at this point that it just makes me wish I was frequently in a place to be able to drop $20 on something like that on a whim.

This game just has no identity of its own anymore. It's basically a giant ad for other brands and even artists. That doesn't have to be a bad thing ofcourse, and the game itself is pretty good. It's just a shame that these F2P service games often lose whatever made them special because they have to keep selling new skins and cosmetics in order to stay relevant.

I don't mind Fortnite too much, but the constant assimilation of very loosely related things for the sake of skins is getting tiresome. How about crossing over with other battle royales for a change? Or is that some sort of taboo I'm unaware of(please pardon my ignorance on the subject, pvp gaming isn't really my thing)?

Love the game because I get to play with my wife side by side, me on PS5 her on PS4 Pro. It's easy to pick up and has eye candy visuals especially on PS5.
