The interesting thing to note. I believe the upgrade isn't tied to PS Plus - so once you claim it I believe it is yours to keep even if the sub stops.
ID: hjeqvftID: hjg6djnI guess this confirms that the current gen upgrades for games can't be implemented with PS+ games. It's the reason why the developers for Dead by Daylight gave the PS5 version away unconditionally to PS4 owners and it's not tied to an active PS+ subscription.
This also explains why we didn't get the PS5 upgrade for Greedfall or FFVII Remake because they would basically have to give away the PS5 version for free to PS+ version owners.

ID: hjfdqjvCan't see why they'd particularly care given that it's a first party game now that Sony owns Firesprite. Other games have worked similarly in the past where you'd be able to claim the game fully from upgrading the PS+ version. I think there's only a few cases where publishers have stipulated that you can't do that.

For those wondering how this game plays without VR, just know that even in VR it uses the controller. So really the headset was only used for looking around.

When I originally went through and added the PS+ stuff to my library, this showed as $25 or so. Now it just had an "Add to Library" button.

This game, Moss ans astrobots are my first PSVR experience and it was one of the best Rogue-Like i've play since a long time. If that version came to PSVR 2, that would be the dream.

Heck yeah! I do have to wonder how many people won't get the upgrade because they didn't realize it was announced later though. Not that I think it was scummy or underhanded, I just don't like how that was done.
ID: hjf3chrI was just wondering why it wasn't on the main oa plus screen when I was checking the monthly games. I just happened to check on the vr games and saw it on that screen. Was confused why it was there but went ahead and grabbed it anyways.

Yay! Thank you developers (or whoever did this), wherever you are!! If I'm not going to play in VR, which I actually could when my setup is better, I'd rather play the PS5 version.

On another note, I have a feeling that the title is gonna have a PSVR2 patch for the Persistence Enhanced close to when it releases.
-2018 the Persistence was originally released for PSVR.
-2020 Released a PS4 playable version
-2021 Released The Persistence Enhanced for PS5
-(2022?) Release PSVR2 version of Persistence EnhancedMakes sense as they seem to have been willing to work on the game as time has passed, and now being a first-party studio - seems to just line up perfectly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the PS5 version isn't compatible with VR. So if you plan to play in VR then this might not be too important to you.
