This is the most jargon-y corporate bullshit release I’ve ever seen. With all of those words, it doesn’t actually say shit, and they know it. They’re hoping it reads well enough so that non-corporate laypeople think it actually has meaning.
Setting aside the fact that the foxes are implementing a fix to the hen house perimeter, the TL;DR is basically “we plan to have a plan. We appointed people to help figure it out and maybe even hire other outside people to help them, too, if they want. Or maybe not. We’ll see”

It's a shame. I was extremely stoked to play the d2 remaster and I consider buying it every week but I just can't do it. Really a bummer.

This is primarily because from my understanding Vicarious Visions were mainly responsible for the actual remaster. The network side of things though (Blizzards responsibility) is a complete shit show. I can’t even fathom how a multi billion dollar company has a queue just to find a game in 2021. At one point the queue completely prevented console users from accessing the online part of the game.

They don't just need to unionize, they need to do so in a manner that takes this crisis as an example and bakes the lessons into the very structure of the union.

It’s funny how Activision figured all wrong.
Their problem is not the lack of diversity or “wokeness” or some Twitter bullshit.
Their problem is the lack of being an ethical company and with a moronic leadership that doesn’t know how to live in a civilized world.
Also the very own core on blizzard business is completely wrong, in a capitalistic market you increase your revenue mainly satisfying the needs of the consumers and they are literally crapping and destroying their own games with some bad development and lack of Innovation.

As someone in the IT industry who often looked at Blizzard as a possible dream job (that idea ended years ago) I don’t think I can properly state how much I would steer clear of this company. Wonder if their inability to hire anyone will be the long term death nail.

Is he making money? Because if he is, shareholder is going to love him, regardless of what he has done.
Some minority shareholders may want him resign, but majority of the shareholder cares more about the money he makes.
Want him gone? Don’t buy their games. But there are enough enough doing so for him to be making lots of money.

For the last days his involvement meant that he stood for losing money for a short period of time. Nobody loves that.
Also other big companies survived management/ CEO changes and got even stronger. There is no reason to believe this can't happen here too.

Money always talk, as long as he give shareholder profit he will stay. Only minor shareholder that only own 0,6% want him to resign. The major shareholder pretty much quiet about this.
Sure their stock fall, but it's normal. Last year their stock already overbought so it's make sense investors will sell to gain profit.
