I've never played an original and remaster before. For example I played The last of us remastered, but never the original. I played Uncharted 4 on the PS4. Will this be exactly the same story and gameplay but just better visuals, etc? Or do they change the game at all? Thanks for any insight you may have.

This kind of thing would be scheduled to optimise the 1st party release schedule. It's could go anywhere and is probably just filling a gap between other titles.

I really hope this will be free for the existing owners but knowing Sony it won’t be. I hope at least they will offer reduced price fee like Death Stranding.
Also wasn’t this supposed to come in Early 2022?

ID: hmlgswyThey did it because they didn’t want any risk of suing since they said Horizon FW will be one of the games that will have PS4 > PS5 free upgrade. God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7 won’t have free upgrade option.

This isn’t a patch for the PS4 games unfortunately…it’s a whole new PS5 version and the chances of it being a free upgrade if you own the PS4 version are slim 🙁
They could however patch the PS4 games on or around the same date so that people can get 60fps without having to buy the PS5 version….I hope!
