- Tales Of Arise Online Survey Hints To Potential Series Remasters
SYMPHONIA!!! 🙂ID: hmeg9qj
It's my favorite tales game of all time and I'd certainly buy it in a second. But that game is still so great now.ID: hmdnqww
We had that already thoughID: hmdycqu
???? please don't say dawn of a new world lol
Give me PhantasiaID: hmgon9x
Glad to see this. Almost never see it recommended when people bring up Tales games.ID: hmh33sg
That's one of the two in haven't played
Tales of Abyss PS5 pleaseID: hmez9wr
This plllllllease.ID: hmfb4ac
Oh man, YES!
Played it years ago on my PS2. The main character's personal growth was great to witness.ID: hmcigui
I would love abyss. Have only played it on 3ds which was very enjoyable but would love to have i it on proper console.
I hope for one of the games that never came to the west :p
Go to the past with Phantasia, Destiny and Eternia. They need serious updates
Tales of EVERYTHING! for modern consoles.
GRACES F PLSID: hmjmyxj
But why?ID: hmjn4nl
Because of the combatID: hmdnuh2
Graces f was so goodID: hmgnouj
Easily my least favorite of the nine I've played. I found combat frustrating and the characters forgettable.
Xillia 1&2 are probably the easist/most likely, less likely would be Eternia in a Star Ocean First Departure R style, digital only.
Even less likely would be a new localization of Destiny 2, DC, and Rebirth.
I’d love a better remaster of Symphonia, based off the Gamecube code for 60fps battles, but for whatever reason Bamco prefers versions with more content.ID: hmgyy3h
Xillia 1 and 2 are the most likely tbh.
Xillia 2 came out like a year into the ps4 lifecycle as a ps3 exclusive.
The best one is Tales of Eternia
would i enjoy this series if i liked persona 5?ID: hmchgnv
Different types of JRPGs, but I love both seriesID: hmcjquj
Turn based versus real time combat, but heavy on story and relationships. I loved P5 and Arise is my first Tales, haven't put it down in a couple weeksID: hmfo4pg
I love Persona & hate Tales. They are completely different types of games.ID: hmepnq3
I loved Persona 5 and I loved Arise.
Gameplay is 100% different but if you like that cheesy anime goodness mixed with realistic character interactions you'll feel at home.
(P5 is still way better but P5 set the bar incredibly high in my eyes)ID: hmcr2oa
I haven’t played Persona, but after like 7-8 hours of arise, what I’ve seen so far the writing isn’t nearly as good. Characters are pretty much just anime tropes or cliches.
Gameplay is kinda fun if you wanna do a bunch of crazy moves. Things seem to slowly get bigger and better so maybe they designed the game as they went lol. Story and writing could get better after the initial awkward characterizations.ID: hmdeibj
The writing gets better when the story starts to ramp up tbh, great gameID: hmg0vh9
I found that everything got fairly better after the first lord and much more so after the second.ID: hmedmo9
Play the older, PS2-era Tales games if you want a good story. The modern games descend into the malaise of anime tropes and fan service box-checking. Wouldn’t play Xillia or anything more recent as your first Tales game unless you’re only interested in the gameplay.ID: hmd2kki
You'd enjoy Yakuza 7 more than this tbhID: hmctb09
Tales of Arise has a poor plot and vapid cliche characters. Persona’s amazing cast and world building is light years better than this game.ID: hmdzchg
Tbf, Persona is top notch compared to everythingID: hmde30w
I certainly enjoyed it enough to platinum it and I platted P5R as well. Arise isn't as long as P5, you can finish the story in like 40-50 hours although the writing in Arise isn't as great as P5 (I find there to be a bit too much repeated conversation topics in Arise) but I still enjoyed it.ID: hmdc2pi
Most like, though battle-gameplay is completely different.
Also give Trails-series a try (Trails in the Sky trilogy, Trails from Zero/to Azure, Cold Steel quadrilogy), great story-driven series, with overarching plot set in one world over duration of over five years now.
would be great to see xillia 1+2 get the ff10/10-2 treatment.
I'd play both Xillias again.
If it’s remasters of the old ones I think it would be a good fit for the Switch. If it’s more of a proper remake or a full on high quality remaster I would hope for PS5.
Perfect cadence would be one Switch remaster, one modern hardware remaster, followed by a new game. If done well remasters are great. If done poorly…
yay more remaster, cant waitttttttttttt
fucking sick of remasters.
fucking lazy developpers.
much more easier to make money with "enhanced" old game instead of creating brand new games.
THIS FUCKING TREND NEEDS TO STOP !
STOP BUYING REMASTERS ! FUCKING BOYCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !ID: hmefzew
There are three mainline game that have never been released in America (2 of which havent even be fan translated). So I'd certainly be ecstatic for them.ID: hmgz92h
They literally made a new game and released it not too long ago. Like tales of arise is maybe 3 months old today.
Remasters are nice because tales games are their own story and all are very different than the others. Arise had very different combat then berseria which is the last game. The entire story was different and in a different world as well.ID: hmh2iiy
Old games don't replace new games. Theyre still making new games, Tales of Arise just came out this year.
And old games are still good and making them better and accessible when there's demand is certainly good as well.
Remasters are a net positive for everyone.
If it's not Rebirth I'll be devastated.
Destiny please (eternia on psp)!
Localize Destiny DC and Rebirth. This is all I ask.
Tales of Eternia remaster thanks
I'd love to see more western localization to some of the entries instead personally. Like the JP version of Tales of Destiny 2 and Tales of Rebirth.
Need Symphonia and Xillia 2 remasters.
I bought the collectors edition of those games back when the PS4 was about to be announced, and when the PS4 came out, I just didn't have it in me to play the PS3 anymore, and so the games in their CE boxes remained sealed.
It didn't help when I found out Symphonia requires multiple playthroughs with unskippable cutscenes to get the plat
Tried to see if I can play them on PS Now, and nope.
