Hogwarts Legacy is rumored to be showcased during next rumored PlayStation event

After we got burned by the FFXVI State of Play rumor, I’m ignoring everything until we get concrete information.

Speaking of, I almost miss the monthly "Silent hill is rumored to be in the making!!" rumors. Nah, no I don't.

I don't think SE would want to hype up XVI until Strangers in Paradise comes out. Maybe a little bit, but they wouldn't want to hurt SiP when they know XVI will sell like crazy anyways.

So I ignore any rumors about FF XVI being shown off until May 2022.

I was hoping for another LOTR game from Monolith set in a different age with the nemesis system on PS5/SeriesX or even a proper matrix game.

Elden Ring won it two years in a row, at that. For that matter I think the only games nominated last year that actually came out were Halo and RE8.

Funny enough the trailer was leaked almost 2 years before the announcement. So they had a gameplay trailer since 2018 at the very least.

Yeah I think the reason people feel like they've been waiting on this forever is only because it was leaked way, way too early in its development. They obviously weren't ready to announce anything related to it back then but it got out anyway
