When I was watching the trailer, I thought that guy would kiss (or flirt) the girl then got eaten.

Why is he just the silent hill creator…he’s also done siren and gravity rush. He’s incredible.

This and Alan Wake II are the two things I'm most looking forward to from TGAs.

I’m hopeful for this one.

In many cases I'd sigh at more action horror (I like my horror like the classics), but this guy also made Gravity Rush. So bring it on!

Action horror has sort of always been the norm. The idea of being unable to fight back and having to run wasn't popular until the early 2010s I'd say

The games this guy is known for (Silent Hill and Siren) are not action horror though. Sure you can equip guns in SH but its clunky as hell and combat is generally seen as a last resort. Several games (Clock Tower, Haunting Ground, Rule of Rose) of that ps2 era had this theme. It's not about not being able to fight back at all, it's about it being risky and generally discouraged unless you have no other option.

The OG Resident Evil games sort of have that vibe (especially at harder difficulties) but they do tend to all get a bit crazy by the last hour.

I hate the walking simulator style of horror game we got in the 2000s. Something that requires a bit of thought and planning before each combat encounter would be nice though. Even if it is more action adventure I hope there is resource management, intense encounters. Basically like Dead Space 2.

I mean, in a way, but I don't call original Resident Evil and Silent Hill action because you can fight back.

I'm sad we'll never get another Gravity Rush game. Probably one of the best, unique series on Playstation.

shit the more the merrier.

The trailer for this game gave me major Sweet Home vibes (the Korean Netflix show, not the 1980s Capcom game) which could be pretty cool. I generally prefer more slower paced horror games & this seems to be pretty “high-octane” when it comes to the action / combat but we’ll see. Definitely not writing it off yet.

The webtoon is a million times better than the Netflix show, check it out

Finally a promising horror game.

I'm intrigued but the trailer gave me very heavy action vibes and some of the designs for enemies look like they are trying too hard to be scary? Can't put my fingers on it but I'll keep my eye on it atleast.

I think it was the overall action combined with Japanese style.

Reminded me of a capcom game from the 90s.

My older cousin lent me Silent Hill back in 1999. It gave me nightmares for weeks.. but I loved it! Can’t wait for this game.

This looks genuinely interesting.

Like I said before, this looks goofy, but in a good way.

Kind of a satirical take on horror. Could be interesting.
