nice litle jab at the end.

"Number of CEOs at Riot games, Ubisoft, and Activision Blizzard who have stepped down as a result of the massive cultural problems let to fester under their tenure: 0"

Oh so that’s why everyone and their mother seems hellbent on releasing a mobile version of their game

Lol, the future seems bleak now.

This is why I really appreciate any studios making blockbuster single player games. We might get less of them in the future.

Mobile and smartphone games are more than half the total revenue and showed the most growth. No wonder companies push for it so much.

I noticed that as well. It's the most lucrative gaming market at the moment, and my least favorite

Neat

Thank God physical games are slowly but surely die.

Is physical games somehow a negative, not being snarky, I'm genuinely curious

ID: hpffrqv

Overall they are a net negative, they require plastic and paper for the boxes and that is without looking at the blue ray disk.

Add on tip of that they still require the level of electricity that digital games need from whatever device you are using them on, then you have the servers, updates, cloud saves and trophies saved on the cloud.

Then there is also the transportation on top of it, from factory to store, from store to you.... and that is also without looking at how much power the game developers have to use in making the game, which is the same for digital and physical games... So overall I see them as a negative when compared to digital games.

You don't have to agree, but to me that far outweighs, whatever positives people find in having the ability to resell and "own" a game.

No thanks I’ll keep hoarding physical games because they’re cheaper 🙂 frankly couldn’t give less of a shit about the environment or plastic.

Yet you are here crying about plastic, must be hard being so poor that you have to go for the cheapest option sad.

Maybe one day you can leave your momma's basement and get a job... Hope you get the next welfare check soon, loser.

Shocked to see Subway Surfers still going strong. Think I first downloaded that like 10+ years ago. Pretty long lifetime for a mobile game.

8 : Anonymous2021/12/21 17:41 ID: hpg5yu4

All the most viewed trailers are for AAA games with massive publishers backing them… and then there is Valhiem in 3rd place, a small game from an indi studio with less than 20 people and no publisher.

That must feel so strange for that Dev team. Good for them!

9 : Anonymous2021/12/21 23:48 ID: hphnwjw

What's the difference between smartphones, mobile, and tablets?

10 : Anonymous2021/12/21 19:14 ID: hpgk569

Starfield’s trailer views is misleading because it was an ad and that’s why it only has 60k likes, where as Spider-Man 2 has 653k likes because it was not an ad.
