This has probably been mentioned before, but I don't really follow games too much before they're released. I think it's interesting that they're pushing it out at the $60 price point. That fact alone has me wanting to buy it new. I refuse to pay $70 for a new game, and will support a $60 price point.

Is it not? All the high-level summaries of the story seem to be about the player collecting all fragments of the Ring, similar to DS1's/DS2's collecting powerful souls and DS3's bringing back the Lords of Cinder.

Miyazaki mentioned a few times that the Elden Ring is not actually a ring, like one that goes on your finger. It’s a much more metaphorical thing about keeping the world together or something

Yes. And you will have to start over after every death. However, game developers can't remove the knowledge you gained after each death, so just be persistent!

The only thing I don’t like about the game is how easy it is to just train enemies around rocks. The AI is pretty dumb

hHaving a million wouldn’t change it if they can’t hit you in the 1st place. I feel such a lack of criticism for this game that I can just feel like it’s gonna be another cyber punk. I agree, theres much better games out there than Elden wings or whatever.
This small indie game for example was made with a low budget. & I would argue that it def. runs at a higher FPS natively than this Runescape clone
