I don't think they'll skip straight to DS4. My guess is their 'Dead Space 4' will be a brand new DS game that follows their DS1 remake and essentially makes a brand new story.

I didn’t play Dead Space 3 only saw videos of it, but doesn’t it and it’s DLC’s end in a way that a sequel wouldn’t be possible?

Also, isn’t this a reboot? So if a future Dead Space is going to be made wouldn’t it be more fitting for it to be in this new continuity of Dead Space?

It could very well be a reboot. I think the DS remake will mostly follow the OG's plot, but anything after that will be brand new. Makes far more sense that skipping straight to a sequel of a 10+ year old game.

I’ve been pretty psyched for the Dead Space remake. Ray-tracing and next-gen lighting will do wonders for the atmosphere.

It didn't sell that well the first time and the 2nd game didn't either so unlikely. Cool concept they didn't give enough support or propulsion to.

Would be cool if they made like kinda rebooted deadspace sequel after the remake. Although I don’t really trust anything out of EA except if it’s from respawn.

They are remaking the first game. No confirmation what they will do after that. Personally I wouldn't bother with 3. 1 and 2 are fantastic and hold up decently well.
