There was a golf game on the ps2 that I loved. It wasnt an rpg like this it was just golfing but it had rpg elements to increase your stats and clubs stats and cool animations like my character would summon his club from hell and it would just float up out of the ground lol Was awesome. I want another game like that with a large open world element.

oh shit I didnt realize everybody golf was related to that. I had hot shots golf on vita. I thought they felt familiar but that ps2 game had some great elements. Does the ps move work with the golf games well? I was considering picking a set up

There was also an Outlaw Volleyball and Outlaw Tennis....but I doubt many people played it. (I did not)

We need more sports games with RPG elements. I remember playing Mario Tennis on GBC and that shit slapped - and I'm not even that into Tennis. The GBC Pokemon TGC game similarly made something which would normally bore me a lot of fun.

This sounds like the modern golf RPG I’ve always wanted. Really interested it, though I’ll wait for the initial reviews before making a decision to buy or not.
