I loved DW2 on PS2

I haven’t played any DW games since 6. Every new release has these characters looking like they’re out of a fucking anime and that just turned me off.

Been wanting to play dynasty warriors for a long time, number 9 got to many bad reviews so I am very happy I can try a demo of this before deciding to buy.

ID: hud5el9Keep in mind this is NOT just a "Dynasty Warriors" game (like DW9) - this is a Dynasty Warriors "Empires" game - the far more strategic variety of DW. It usually has a variety of territorial scenarios and a card system that is used to remix battles and challenges, along with diplomacy and other feudal political stuff.

Personally I prefer Warriors games that aren't Dynasty Warrior games. One Piece Pirate Warriors is one of my favourite and I wish there were more anime Warrior games, Bleach would have been perfect.

ID: hub6tk7to be fair, there are plenty of those. warriors games that are actually DW focused aren't so common these days so it's nice for new ones to come out for the fans of those games.

I heard really bad things about dynasty warriors 9…I will be interested to learn if Empires actually changes any of the bad things or really is just the same game with the mini “strategy” element of the empires sub-series.

I had no idea about this and completely forgot it's being released next month, you can add another game to that list of PS5 games being released in February.

You know what? I haven’t played a DW since DW 5, if this demo is alright am buying the game. I miss hack and slash games, it has been years if not a decade.

just play the 8 other versions, all they do is copy and paste and put a new number on it.

Gonna give this a shot. Hope Omega Force took the failure of DW9 to heart and made a lot of improvements.

Came here to say this....really wish there was a good way to find demos.
Demos are a great way to find out if you're like a game, but it defeats the purpose if you don't know about it because they're not listed anywhere.
