GTA Online Will Add Hao's Auto Shop on PS5 for Elite Driving Performance

There’ll be a new in-game retailer exclusive to the next-gen version of GTA Online, as previously teased. Hao’s Special Works auto shop will allow you to upgrade a total of ten different cars at launch: five new ones and five existing ones. Once modded, these cars will allow for “elite driving performance that takes full advantage of the upgraded power of new console hardware”.
so basically you buy an upgrade that uses the SSD properly.

ID: hvviyozIn 3rd person all you hear is a thud, and a spray of red mist as an indicator.
In 1st person, you get the thud, blood covering your window, and the wipers turning on smearing it until the washer fluid runs to clean it off. There's still blood in the corners where the wipers don't reach though.

So if I upgrade the vehicle to lightspeed and play withy friend who plays on PS4 how will it look for him? God this sounds like special relativity science stuff.

I checked the tweet from Rockstar.. they mentioned that only this particular feature is excusive to new gen, maybe the visual upgrades are ignored and rendered normally on ps4s and the upgraded cars may go off the radars for PS4 users when the ps5 users drive them. Have to wait and see.

Didn't think about it until now, but the speed of vehicles has been capped to the streaming of the hard drive I guess? So if you have an SSD. You could get faster vehicles.
ID: hvutwueTo the FPS i think too. At least thats what i tested with a friend on 2 different machines and a straight but long custom track.
ID: hvuty2dThat’s something they didn’t think about in Cyberpunk, so many times I have been driving fast and the road hasn’t rendered yet and end up falling through terrain!
Should be fixed for the PS5 version though.

I'd say with GTA driving mechanics and reckless AI the only elite driving performance in March will be the GT7 game.

Yep. The speed that cars can drive in GTA is limited by how fast the game can draw the world. That’s why the fastest car has been in the game since launch.
The biggest change we’re going to see in open world game design this gen are the feel of movement and speed.
