Oh yeah, they are definitely reopening Studio Liverpool. Funny enough, Firesprite and xDev Europe is based there. On top of that, so is Lucid games.

This will make me laugh forever, that Sony purchases Psygnosis and then rebrands them into Sony Liverpool. Sony then shuts down the studio. Then Sony buy's Firesprite consisting of a bunch of old Psygnosis and Liverpool employees, and now re-ups the trademark for Psygnosis and is opening a Liverpool office haha

I use to clean in Studio Liverpool. Was pretty cool seeing all the set up for The Wipeout game they were making at the time, think it was fusion.

ID: hw8yh68This is just a current office that is relocating and 65k square feet is actually not that huge when it comes to offices. I don’t think this move is in any way related to further plans for M&A.
