Nintendo Direct is today and I watched a video on YouTube called ‘Nintendo Direct Line Up Leaked!’ or some other click bait title. The first thing the guy said was ‘well it’s not really been leaked, but here are some things we think might be included’. Stopped watching right away.
I’m certain these companies are employing gamers or ad revenue generation experts rather than really good journalists.

I'm still miffed that you cannot delete individual save files.

ID: hw8oovgYes, it uses the PS5 save system and there is no option to delete individual characters.
You can only choose to delete ALL the saves in the system settings but cannot choose individual save files.

ID: hwal5z4It really is mind blowing that this feature is still missing. I never played the original Demon’s Souls, but every other Fromsoftware game has this feature. It’s even more dumb when you consider that most Souls fans replay these games religiously to do different builds. I really don’t understand how this game is so good and masterful in so many ways, but you can’t even delete an individual save file. Such an obvious oversight that hasn’t been fixed in over a year.

I just hate having to use online to platinum the game. World tendency is really annoying but I could deal with it if I could still 100% it solo.
ID: hw933x9You don’t have to be online to affect world tendency.
Regardless of being online, dying in human form shifts world tendency black, and defeating bosses shifts it white. You can beat a boss then go kill yourself in the Nexus to die without shifting any world black, and after two or three bosses the world will be pure white tendency.
The only online element that affects world tendency is being invaded and killing the invader, which pushes you towards white.
I think there’s an achievement or two for killing an invader or being summoned so you’d need online at least for those.

ID: hw98komYou can platinum it solo, I never did any PvP. There are just enough ways to affect world tendency through the boss fights and fighting specific NPC characters that show up.

I can’t even get passed the first part of the game. Sends me outside the castle and I die. I got the wand and I can’t seem to aim it. Can anyone help me figure out what I can do to get rolling in this game?
