I just wanted to validated before buying the PS4 Disk of Horizon Forbidden West to play it in a PS5 4.03 firmware. And please don't tell me to update the PS5 lol

Ps4 version works on ps5 4.03 and the game can be updated without updating ps5 firmware. However the ps5 disk version does NOT work on ps5 4.03. as soon as you pop in the disk it requires an update. The disk comes with the update. DO NOT UPDATE if you wanna stay on 4.03. Shame because I bought the game and now I cannot play it. Hope this information helps.

The PS4-Disc Version of HFW runs on 4.03 PS5.
The PS4-Disc Version + OnlineUpdate to 1.04, runs on 4.03 PS5.
The PS4-Disc Version + OnlineUpdate to 1.05, we will see.

The PS5-Disc Version needs PS5 Firmware 4.50!
