Bruh can’t wait for this. Last GT I played was 4. This has gotten all my attention for now.

Great review. Love the second opinion bit and 9 seems fair.

Things to know if you’ve not played a GT game before:

1) the game is largely challenge based, as opposed to competition based. Meaning instead of competing for points in championships, qualifying for starting position, and running through a set championship of tracks, instead you enter your cars in challenge events where you always start from last place and work your way up to the top of the pack. There’s not really pit stops or tire management or damage modeling or anything like that. This is the aspect that a lot of more traditional motor sports fans get turned off by. It truly is a DRIVING simulator, not a motor sports simulator, and this is good to know going in. If you’re looking for something more traditional I recommend the F1 series or Project Cars 2.

2) the real joy of the game is in building up your car collection over time, taking photos and enjoying replays. It’s a game about reverence for amazing driving machines, and is built toward that mindset. Music is traditionally a big part of the experience and I’ve been turned on to some amazing artists through the series.

3) it’s a game built by car people, and car people are an eccentric bunch. Especially Japanese car people.

I still can't believe this is the first mainline sequel in nearly a decade .

No ray tracing, old tracks, gt sport engine with 4k res . Graphically Shit.

and yet every single review has claimed how gorgeous it is....wonder who is wrong here?

Look yourself. It's not even comparable to forza horizon 5 which itself is old engine...

It's a 100 us game...

Edit: graphically it’s the shit.

Look at horizon 2, forza 5... it s simply a high res gt sport , a 5 year old game lol

Graphically Shit.

Deluded. Let's say for the sake of argument they literally just up rezzed GT Sport to 4k. Imagine thinking GT Sport is "graphically shit" lol. This guy absolutely doesn't have working eyes.

Compared to modern games at 10p us value like forza horizon, horizon 2, it is, sadly.

Trust me I was rooting for gt7 , hoped it will look like in the first trailer... I'm disappointed I ll be playing a last gen game for years.

This game will be for 5 years not today.

If even today looks sub-par compared to most aa games launched this year imagine it in few years.

I don't get it why not use a new engine

Up tezing to 4k meaning it simply runs at higher resolution. U see same shit at higher rez. That's all. No big deal rly since ur os5 hardware does the hard work mostly.

U can put super Mario from snes at native 4k, it will look the same
