is portrayed as this human sized, wreck all your shit Gods or Demons wrecking force. None of his lore nor tales of him ever mention him needing anything but his bloodlust.Having said that...it is curious that in the Doom Fortress we do see a mech. But I think it is there just to show in game examples of the mechs that were used by the others. I may just not remember, but I don't think that the Doom Fortress was ever declared that it was Doomguy's specifically.
I think people misconstrue being able to see the mech and getting their hopes up.
I want Doomguy to stay himself. Just a one man army that needs naught but his guns and two hands. Backs up the "Do NOT fuck with this guy..be afraid." aspect that both demons and God's follow.

Are id Software working on DOOM 3 (Third game in the reboot) yet or has it not started development yet ? Or are they going to do a different IP before a DOOM 3 ?

ID: gq3powwIIRC Hugo Martin said that TAG Pt. 2 would be the end of the particular story arc that was started with DOOM 2016, but they still want to make games in this universe.
A soft reboot of sorts is in the cards methinks.

Oh yeah, and I believe he also said that id hasn't made their "best DOOM game yet" or something along those lines. Make of that as you will.

I expected the Dark Lord to have his own armor but damn. I was thinking a hellish version of the Praetor, not Char Aznable's wet dream.
But it's nice and bulky, perfect for some hammer time.

Hot damn that art is freaking majestic. Honestly this looks like content for a third entry in the series, crazy how their doing “the conclusion of the slayer saga” in expansions. Wonder how they could top what looks like basically the avengers endgame of doom in a third game.

This looks so awesome, these games are truly an achievement and have really revived fps’s for me, besides doom I’m really curious about what’s going on with the next Wolfenstein game since Bethesda and machine games have been virtually radio silent for like the last year and a half
