Is EA Play worth it on the PS5?

Do we get the same amount of access to EA games as Xbox does? They have a 99 cent deal for a month. Was wondering if it was even worth the time to try it out.

I got the deal a month ago too and just played jedi fallen order. It was definitely worth it. Then just canceled it when it was time to renew

I did the same played through that and the single player of Battlefield V for $1, I just turned off auto renew right away. Subbed a few months back and played A Way Out, Mirrors Edge 2, and Unraveled. Not really anything else I want to play on the service though.

I platinumed Fallen Order and preordered the Mass Effect Trilogy for ~$6 off so for me the 99¢ month actually saved me money and I really enjoyed Fallen Order.

Btw you can pay for the 1 month then cancel it right away so in a month you don't have to worry about going back and canceling it then.

Depends if you play a lot of EA titles, they had that squadrons a while back which was meant to be a full game but failed to mention the campaign wasn't the full one.

As others have mentioned, it really depends on how much you enjoy playing EA titles. You can view the EA Play library for PlayStation here.

Much appreciated

Star Wars Squadrons is on it March 18th. I'm holding off until the last moment to get that 99c deal.

Unfortunately it's just a 10 hour trial and only includes the first couple of single player missions (unless this just changed in the last week)

It's 99c buddy, I'm sure you can stretch to that. Then turn off auto renew

You can look at what games are available yourself. And it's a dollar, what do you have to lose?

I'd say it's better on Xbox just because of the various backwards compatible games

Also if you have Ultimate EA Access is free within that too

Wonder why I got downvoted lol tf

Its worth a look at the current offer but there's not a lot of games and they aren't my type either.

I’d probably just end up playing UFC 3 and that Star Wars Jedi game.

Depends on how many EA games you may buy per year. If you like sports games they have all major sports covered. I believe they just added Madden 21 to the roster.

You’ll probably get a year out of it, but you certainly won’t renew for a second year. I played everything I wanted to and they never added a single new game until half way through my 11th month.

Oh that really sucks!

I think they are adding some titles this week to it. Madden 21 was added yesterday. Not bad.

Yea. I bought it for just the month too. I was itching for a racing game and wanted to try NFS Heat. Tried EA Play before in November 2019 for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Hard to pass up the deal.

Same games except some BC titles from Xbox 360.

It depends on how many of the games you want vs the cost.

But the vast majority of titles aren't on ps4/5 because the consoles can't play ps3 games.

If you have an xbox or pc ea access is objectively better because for the same price your list of games is significantly larger. Xbox gets all the mass effect games for example while ps4 will only get andromeda
