- [Hardware Unboxed] Are GPU Prices Recovering? CPU and GPU Stock Update [March 2021]
-
checks GPU prices
sees $1750 RX 6800
Oh, I don't think so.
ID: gqt2a4vID: gqtos6jThank god i bought my 2080 i can wait for next gen gpus. 2080 is underrated monster though my Asus one is kinda golden sample beats 2080S easy.

I bought my 3090 in December 20 for less than the current price of a 3080 :-/
ID: gqstmcfI bought a 3080 at above but near msrp. Got refunded because it was bad stock.
ID: gqstz2rThat’s a shame 🙁

I think that there is not one side that takes a huge bite. You know, if AMD/Nvidia take a small bite of that inflated price, then OEM take a small bite, then distributors, then local sellers - after all that we end up with inflated prices.
ID: gqtj4u0Don't forget the US gubmint taking a bite as well.

I'm hoping things slowly go back to normal after Eth updates to 2.0.
ID: gqsupdjEtherium 2.0 is a long way off, but EIP 1559 will be implemented in July, which will cut mining profits. Hopefully we'll see the mining demand drop leading up that implementation
ID: gqtb4cuthought that wasn't until sometime in 22?....at least I will finally get the BIG NAVI card I have been waiting 5 years for by then lmao

Don't get your hopes up.

I'm so tired of the scalpers, i wanna kick in the teeth of everyone who scalps lol.
ID: gqt1ugtSame goes for shops that double or triple their prices.

ID: gqsqe7yi'm not tough i'm just venting frustration.
ID: gqt51mqSir I think you need therapy more than a gpu

Still waiting for mythical 5950x stock in the EU.
ID: gqt8bzpSame here in the states. I'm not in a huge rush but I will be excited to see it appear
ID: gqtgvyjYeah. Atleast 5600x/5800x are staying in stock consistently now. Should give AMD a reason to start pumping out R9's, now the mid end has been filled.

I hope it doesn't recover until I get a 6700xt and sell my 3070 ventus. I'll never get my money back on that garbage if prices normalize. $750 msrp
ID: gqsjwyuThe 3070 is a solid card, I would not call it garbage unless it's defective (in which case RMA is the way to go).
ID: gqsl3fzThe msrp of the card is what's garbage. 3070 is great. The card feels lower tier too. I mean I want to sell it for $810 which is what I got it for. In a normalized market, $810 will buy you a nice 3080
ID: gqsl61s$750 come to €630... I would buy it straight from you if shipping charges and import fees wouldn't kill me.
ID: gqsg6tzWhat’s wrong with 3070 Ventus?
ID: gqskufeIt's $100 more than every other 3070 for no reason but greed. It's pretty light too which makes me feel like the cooler is cheaper.
