How is it possible that a AAA game from a major publisher still hasn't had trophies patched after 4+ months. There are 2 trophies that have been achieved by 0.0% of people on PS5 (and thus the platinum as well). Apparently the trophies were buggy on ps4 but they're just plain broke on ps5.
I love the game and I feel like the extra performance and horsepower of ps5 make a big difference in correcting the slow menu navigation of ps4. Here are links that I've discovered showing.
I guess Gearbox is aware of the issue but it doesn't seem to be a priority:

that’s not even the worst of it - unless it’s been fixed in the last month, if you use the cards ui, it bugs out your game progress and every time you restart the game, you have to replay one of the early story missions before it lets you “fast forward” your progress.
it’s like this on the first character i created but haven’t touched in the last month but my other characters, where i didn’t click any of the cards ui, all work fine. super infuriating.
sometimes if you jump back to the main menu it’ll self-fix, but it doesn’t always work
(again, i haven’t tried it in about a month so if it’s fixed then that’s great but seeing as how they literally don’t care about the trophies issue i highly doubt it)
ID: grvqahvNope. Not fixed yet. It’s infuriating having to play that first mission over and over and over. It’s not just when I start the game either, I’m forced to replay the first mission at least once an hour. So, I’ll just leave it on the shelf instead.
I’m not even sure if it’s connected to the cards or not. All of my characters are fucked. It started happening when I imported my ps4 save.
ID: grvr2jzah geez that’s awful. yeah i only suggest it’s related to the cards cuz the new characters i’ve created and not touched the cards have worked flawlessly. maybe it’s fixed for newly created characters sometime in the past month and they didn’t mention it in patch notes? i’m not about to test using the cards on them tho lol
i didn’t do an import so i don’t think that’s the cause either (although your situation sounds much worse than mine)

ID: grx1l3nYep, every time I start the game I get the intro dialogue to the 'Head Case' VR mission, no matter how many times I complete it or how far I move past it. It's pretty much put me off the game now, it's so grating to have to listen to every time

Not only trophies man, the whole game is still broken with the save bug. Every now and then when I load it up, Im back at the start of the game, still with my gear and levels, but all story progress gone. And you can try and fix it by loading up the game with activity cards, but it just doesnt always work.

I've contacted them several times over this, they don't care, simple as that. They just flat out don't care. They told me the two fully broken ones can't be done and then reconmended that I could get the explore one by exploring every zone in one sitting while never returning to Sanctuary. I would of said BL4 was a day one but after this I'll get the full edition down the road. Gearbox literally sucks.

In the meantime, you are able to go back and rediscover those areas in your own single-player game and get the progress to count towards the achievement goal properly. Just a heads up, when you're going back through the locations, you have to do it all in one sitting. Meaning you can't travel back to Sanctuary or close the game at all. You have to rediscover all the locations before doing either of those. That should trigger it properly for you. I know it's not ideal, but it is currently the only workaround we have for this issue until it is resolved.
That is an absurd ask to the point I feel like they're better off saying "We don't have a fix at this time."

ID: grv9n7uJust to let you know this is the exact same thing they said to me over a year ago when it was bugged on PS4 and I personally never went round and re discovered every location in a single play through but I had a friend who did and this didn't work for him. Bullshit I know.
But it did eventually get fixed on PS4 but that took months think it was close to 6 months just to let you know I'm not even touching the game on PS5 till this gets sorted.

Can this please get more and more seen by people? This isn’t being talked about enough. I personally purchased it because I just got a ps5 after playing on PS4 previously and the game literally won’t save my story progress I’ve replayed a quest line 5 times now and every time I turn off the game it resets the quest. It saves my XP, guns, skills, just not the story and I’ve seen a few other people complain about it. I can’t play the DLC I can’t paid for, it’s ridiculous.

They're just a shitty developer and have been for like a decade. Remember Colonial Marines? A modder fix it with a single change in 1 word in the code. Did Gearbox update the game? No.
Then you have Duke Nukem, the broken Vita ports of Borderlands,etc

ID: grydlr3Out of all 3 this is my least favorite. Beat the story and deleted it. Downloaded the ps5 version, didn't finish the first mission with my gf and deleted it again. 1 and 2 were great and I played the shit outta those, besides the gunplay of 3, I didn't care for it.

This is an incredibly half assed game. The loot system is lazy and nothing like the previous games, the story and gameplay loops do absolutely nothing new and the dlcs are just new maps with reskinned enemies. It doesn’t surprise me at all that they haven’t fixed the issues with a game like this.

AAA means they dump money into selling their product, not making it. Make cheap and sell as soon as possible to get your profits, that is video game development for the majority of games you see released. Stop buying them.

Yep played through the game with my girlfriend hoping to get the platinum together. I noticed early on that no one had the plat but didn’t think much of it (since the ps5 had just come out) until I hit one of the glitched trophies that she got (playing on PS4) and I didn’t. The game itself was also just a buggy mess, it’s embarrassing.

NGL I dropped the game because of reading about this. I have the platinum in PS4 Borderlands and was ready to re-earn it all even on PS5 when they dropped the final season 2 DLC, now I'm out until they fix this shit. Insane that this is still a problem. Not everyone cares, but a lot of people do.

Steam version achievements are broken after new gen launch too, i hope for a big update when dlc comes out but if they are not trying to fix trophies/achievements fuck you gearbox. I pre-ordered your game from ps4 and Steam and now you are treating us like that? Y'all can fuck yourselves

ID: grw3i8l2 Season passes. Some of the DLC was pretty piss poor. I can't ignore the free content but it is definitely not something I care to play more than once a month. Overall Borderlands 3 is a poor successor to BL2. Just more of the same with better shooting.

Gearbox make really good games, but I’ve noticed if something is broken it usually stays broken for example the really awful load times for borderlands 3 (especially on PS4 and Xbox one)
ID: grw2owgYou can only repackage Borderlands so many times. If they don't knock it out of the park with BL4 I would say they are good at rehashing Borderlands but not much else. BL3 is for the most part just meh.
ID: grw3m3zThat final DLC in BL3 compared to the final DLC in BL2 says enough about Gearbox. I had fun with BL2 but the story was horrendous and the paid DLC was bland. Then there's the technical aspect. I've never seen a game run so poorly on my PS4 before. You couldn't even open the inventory without horrendous lag. They never even fixed it.
ID: grw6fw8Not particularly. BL1 and 2 we're solid. 3 was crap. Colonial Marines was abysmal and so was Duke Nukem. Brothers in Arms series wasn't bad actually. Every other game they've made other than the BL franchise has been below average or worse.

I stopped trying to Platinum it when i found out the trials were glitched to high heaven. I couldn't get passed the first couple rounds because enemies would be glitched into walls. I really like the games because i can just sit back, put on a podcast, and just shoot shit, but the glitches got absurdly annoying.

Doesn't surprise me. Haven't tried in a couple months, but my save file is considered corrupt by the PS4 to PS5 save uploader in game. Platinumed the game with that save and wanted to play the DLC on PS5, but that fizzled out quick.

The whole game has been pretty buggy since launch. I've had lots of fun with it, but it's in a constant state of things not working (skills, guns, general bugs/annoyances) and every time they fix a load, they create a load of new ones.
They seem to be trying, but i'd honestly just prefer them to slow down the content drip, sort out all, if not most, of the issues with the game, then bring out some new content (and then fix that content).
At the moment, they just pile new bugs on top of the old ones.

Man I love doing trophies and when I got it 2 months ago I binged the fuck out of it for like 3 days just to realize I can’t get the platinum. It was fun but I just wish they will fix it already
