5950x seems to be more readily available in Europe

several german retailers have it on stock at least, but not yet in Switzerland.

ordered mine last week from a german site, got it today (in Switzerland), batch code indicates it was made on week 13th (2113SUS).

good luck to all of you who want it and couldn't get it so far!

In germany the 5950x and the 5900x is in stock for weeks now. I really don’t understand why it nowhere else is available.

Never at msrp.

That’s true

It was long (30 minutes) available for the MSRP on amd.com shop. I already have a 5600x so I was fighting with myself to get one.

I would rather want to have a 6800xt or 6900xt. 😉

This! I was looking at the 5900x but it's always way over msrp and there is no way to buy from the amd shop here.

How are the prices? There seems to be some stock in the Netherlands, but still very expensive: €729 for a 5900x and €999 for a 5950x. The 5600x (€319) and 5800x (€440) are close to or at MSRP.

After 4 months of waiting my 5900X (580€) got cancelled by the retailer and I just grabbed a 5800X for 420€. Got delivered two days later.

I'd have probably never used 12 cores anyway, so saving 160€ and actually getting the CPU was nice.

Mindfactory has the 5950X for 939€, the 5900X for 689€, 5800X for 425€, and 5600X for 325€, though it goes on sale for 299€ every few days recently

999 in Germany for the 5950x too. I was told that is as low as the store plans to go.

Give them a few months: people cannot mine Ethereum with CPU.

I paid 986 CHF for mine plus shipping. I'd say this is not so bad.

We're on week 16 now.

That's impressive logistics!

100% sure it was airfreight, think of the extra greenhouse emissions.

Yeah 5800X and 5950X are in stock in Finland. 5900X is the unicorn.

I feel myself illegally lucky for buying 5950x in Europe in December for ~ 850 EUR

I feel like that but for the GPUs. Snatched my 6900XT in January for 1150 euros, way below today's price for any GPU of that range.

I have one waiting in a computer shop if I want to buy it. I ordered it, and it just came in. I'm just not sure I am going to buy it.

Please tell us how it performs. I am worried about reports of WHEA crashes and sudden restarts.

you and me both... 🙂 the rest of the system arrives tomorrow and once completed, I'll post the build.

All zen3 cpus have been available for msrp in Croatia for more than a month now

I just picked one up for $200 over MSRP... I've been trying to get one since launch.

Silly me for being impatient.
