Both Spider-Man games were my first purchases and they were so worth it. Both were fantastic

Sony is going to milk the hell out of this game and I'm here for it.

It’s such a great game, so much tighter than the main game, story is better, the new powers are great additions, it respected my time and I really enjoyed the experience as a result.

Wonder if alot of the sales were from it being bundled with the ps5, seemed like every ps5 bundle including the one I got from gamestop had this game in it.
ID: gvi8iqrI'm sure that has a fair bit to do with it. I scored an April 6th GameStop bundle and both bundle options had Miles Morales in it.
The game is a tiny bit on the short side, main story anyway... but it's a beautiful game and enjoyable enough. If I have to complain about anything, traveling around via "web slinging" is rather slow at times. At a point, you have to swing a good 3000+M and well.... either I'm just not good at being fast or it gets a little tedious.

Not trying to be mean, but going end to end on the map doesn't take that long if you build your swinging skills.Making use of the point launching and releasing your swings when you have the most forward momentum, you can web around the map pretty quickly.
Sounds like you're just using the most basic type of swing mechanics to get around.ID: gvibqswIsnt there a fast travel system?

ID: gvit1ooKeep an eye on Gamefly. I got it there for pretty cheap. Used discs but the cases are pristine.

It's a good game. I enjoyed it. I dunno if I'll do NG+ or not. I'm not eating my heart out for a sequel either.

Of course it is. First 1-2 years in a console launch, there aren't so many exclusives, so people would buy almost anything, just because they want to think they were justified in buying a console at launch

I have all systems. Don't know why I keep getting an Xbox though. Xbox doesn't care about their buyers. Gamepass is dumb. Pay all this money for a console that supposedly has all this power just to play old ass games just as they were. They suck at exclusives and the controller is still garbage compared to PS.

Makes me wish you could buy the original Spider-Man for the PS5 outside of the Miles Morales deluxe edition, that edition is still super expensive

It's almost like people were waiting out on having a PS5 in order to buy the game. I just remember people throwing flame at Insomniac and PlayStation for releasing this title as short as it was, at that price amount, as if they didn't know what they were doing and it was a blunder. Shows them, y 'all know who you are.

I couldn't agree more. The fact that the story was so much more concise really made it more enjoyable. Also eliminating the fluff missions was a really good idea.
