Also tsmc is a Taiwanese company, and AMDs ceo is Taiwanese, I'm not saying tsm would play favorites, but it certainly doesn't hurt. Lisa su is just about the most awesome person on the planet

Company uses the highest performance and lowest TCO CPUs available in their Datacenter, big shock.

If you don't need optane NVDIMMs or AVX512, and aren't stuck to intel for some legacy reason, there isn't much of a choice to make.
