How do they make a game that’s so fucking hard to play with friends? Search quick match then invite....oh servers full so have to quit again. Look in server browser, 19/24, 5 spaces available. Join and invite, serve is full again. Then the 3-5 minute wait in between each race. Fuck me, why make a game so unusable and annoying? The game itself is amazing and my friends have been looking for a new game but this is really basic stuff that just makes it easy to play that it’s lacking.
ID: gx1fayvPlaying online with a party is brutal. Plus, if you go out early from damage, your sitting there waiting 10 minutes for everyone to finish. And then another 5 minutes waiting in the lobby.
ID: gx1qk5sI haven't tried, but that sounds brutal.
Games really need to streamline that process to make it super easy to find/join games.
And for people waiting, let them join a race in progress as a ghost or even optionally allow the host to let people join a race partway through (put them at the median position or something). It's a fun arcade racer; does it really matter if someone wasn't in the race from the very beginning?

Using the Activity cards feature is lightning fast with this game I noticed.

When I join a multiplayer match sometimes it puts me into the menu where I can't start the race and can only spectate, change paint, etc.
Is this happening because I am leaving the match once I am eliminated completely and it's trying to put me back in?
Is there a better way to guarantee a playable match without creating my own?
ID: gx0yusaIt's because you are joining a match already in progress so you have to wait til it's finished. If you go into the server browser it will show how long each match has left.

I played this a bunch on PS4 and really loving the much quicker loads. I am disappointed in the haptic feedback, feels like they're going for something,but I don't know what.

This game is super laggy for me, maybe because I live too far away from the servers (another country). Oh well

Not all my friends have been able to get a PS5 yet and there's no cross play 🙁
