So I’ve been on the fence for a while now and so I’ve decided to ask you guys. Which one is the better game and which one should I get? I just can’t decide. Thanks to everyone who can help

Spider-Man for now, since Miles Morales & Remastered both uses all the PS5 features. The Last of Us Part II is still worth playing but it currently doesn't use PS5 features, so wait on an update or PS5 version for that.

They're very different vibes. I preferred TLOU2 overall, but if you haven't played the original Spider-Man, it's definitely worth a shot.
Plus the Spider-Man games are native PS5 with more bells and whistles (60 fps, ray tracing, etc) while we don't exactly know what the plan for PS5 is on Last of Us, so you may as well go with the PS5 game first and pick up Last of Us later when there's a roadmap.
Also I strongly strongly suggest playing the original Spider-Man game before Miles because I thought the gameplay in Miles was a lot more fun by comparison. The original was a ton of fun when I played it, but all the new tricks and abilities in Miles make it feel like the original is missing something when you go back.

Both are amazing games, but very different. If I were in your position, I'd get Spider-Man and wait for the PS5 update for TLOU2.

You will get more content, better visuals and get dual sense features with spider man games, compared to Last of Us 2 they are a more relaxing and fun experience.
On the other hand Last of Us 2 is a really unique experience in many ways. Personaly i'd get Spider Man, but it's a tough choice
ID: gxfe464I disagree about content. I feel like tlou2 has far more content. It’s essentially 2 games in 1! I wouldn’t count side quests with very similar gameplay as more content.

Spiderman is longer and has more content, but TLOU2 is a much better game, one of the best for sure. Though i’d say you should play both

Last of us 2 hands down. Best game I've ever played. I thought it was even better than the first one. Spiderman is an ok game. I still thought graphics in last of us 2 were better though. And the story can't be beat.

As other commenters have said they’re very different games.
Game preference aside The Last of Us: Part II is hands down a better game than Spider-Man Remastered + Miles Morales. TLOU2 has better graphics and animation, a mature gritty story (although Spider-Man is surprisingly mature), incredible voice acting, and is a great third person narrative. I’d say you’d early get about 20 hours give or take out of it depending on your play-through difficulty.
Spider-Man is open world, swinging around Manhattan, incredibly fun. The game really makes you feel like a super hero. Between both games + DLC you probably looking closer to 30. Again give or take depending on the speed you go through the main missions.
Both are incredible games. You can’t go wrong either way. I loved Spider-Man I think the base is much better than Miles Morales which lacked a bit in the story department.
However, if you’re asking me to make the decision for you, I’d choose TLOU2. It’s my absolute favorite game from last generation. But, if you haven’t played TLOU1 play that first!

Desert island situation- Last of Us 2 by a mile for me, but both are excellent games that do VERY very different things so honestly you can’t compare them.
But also, there is likely to be an inevitable upgrade for lou2 that i bet sony will announce by this summer, so if I were you I’d hold off until then.

Hold off on Part II. I'm assuming they're working on a Part II remaster + Factions bundle with the possibility of TLOU Remake being thrown in for good measure.
Go with Miles Ultimate Edition.

Both choices are phenomenal but extremely different experiences (my personal preference is LOU2).
I’d suggest picking Spider-Man right now, both the remaster and miles morales take advantage of PS5 features. Wait to pick up LOU2 when they release a PS5 update for it.

I’d lean towards Spider-Man personally. Last of us is great for sure, but I had more fun with the Spiderman games.

All of Spider-Man 2018(which is what, 50 hours if you do a decent amount of side content?), all of its DLC(which adds another 5-10 hours of content), MM, which is around 20 hours to 100%. So around 70 hours of content from MM Ultimate, not counting replays, while TLOU2 is a 20 hour game, and around a 30 hour plat. MM Ultimate is still more bang for you buck.

Definitely Spider-Man, gameplay wise it’s amazing and it’s easily the best Spider-Man story in the last decade. I personally think it’s miles ahead of the last of us in terms of gameplay. Plus you get both Spider-Man and miles morales

Flip a coin. They are identical games. Normally you could check out reviews and gameplay and make a decision based on personal genre preference. Say, if one was a super hero game and one was a zombie survivor game, but alas.

I would say that eventually you gotta do both, but for right now it's about whether you want a very focused story driven game or more content. You get by far a better game out of TLOU2, but having both spiderman games gives you hella bang for buck with a solid gaming experience. If it was me, I would go with TLOU2 as I am a sucker for naught dog, but you really can't go wrong with either decision.

Well you should play both, they are amazing games. But the smart move is to go with spiderman first. And the reason is because it is optimized for the ps5. You'll get 4k graphics 60 fps and beautiful ray tracing to really take advantage of the power of the ps5 all with amazing dualsense integration too. The last of us right now is running the ps4 pro version at 30 fps, and with the remaster coming is really difficult for this to be the definitive ps5 version. So my advice would be to get spiderman miles morales +remastered now and get the last of us 2 when an update or a ps5 version comes out (that it hopefully doesn't take too long).

The last of us 2 is has insane detail, acting, story, gameplay and animation. It’s a long game and feels very expensive. However, it is a very emotionally draining story that demands your attention. Spider man is just a fun laid back game with a decent narrative.

TLOU 2 is amazing.....but I'd go spidey first b/c it has a PS5 version. Wait until the update, I'll do my 4th playthrough when it comes out.
Both are really fantastic games though. You should definitely play all 3 over time.

Hard to compare since they are so different but Spiderman 2018 is a much better game than TLOUS2 IMO. I haven't finished Miles Morales so I can't comment on that though its gameplay is still really good like 2018. I would honestly if you want to play TLOUS2 at 60 fps (or better graphics) get Miles Morales now and wait for for a little while to see if TLOUS2 will get a ps5 upgrade. Then you would get to play both at their best (if there is a ps5 version) version.

TLOU2 doesn’t run at 60FPS which is why I’m holding out on it. If you’re buying these at full price, I’d go with Spider Man since it’s like $70 for two games

For me the choice would come down to storytelling vs gameplay. Last of us will give you better storytelling, Spiderman will give you better gameplay.

I enjoyed TLoU but I enjoy Spider-Man Remastered more.
It's more "fun" game to me and I really enjoy the story and how it's told.
I'd also wait with TLoU2 until they give PS5 some love. Until then I'm playing other games. That's why I'm leaving Bloodbourne for last because I still hope we get to see it in 60fps.

I have to disagree about Miles being the more fun game overall. While the swinging is definitely more fun and the animations are probably the smoothest I've ever seen in a game, it falls short compared to its predecessor in the combat department in my opinion. The gadgets in the first game added tons of ways you could tackle an encounter in addition to a variety of special abilities that came with each suit. The combat got a bit tedious in Miles' 7 hour campaign, but was always fun for the whole 17 hour duration of the first game. But in the end they both are great games.
