Been awhile since I've paid attention to prices and damn, thats yikes! level right there.
ID: gxqs2t9ID: gxqszbqIts ridiculous isn't it. Makes me feel bad for everyone actually needing a GPU (I don't count mining as needing). Also makes me feel a lot better about only having to drop $700 on a nitro+ 6800 months ago though
ID: gxr13hgThat might actually be MSRP, since it's an XTX chip. Powercolor would set the MSRP on it, not AMD.
ID: gxrrb1oYeah wtf. I got lucky and got mine at a MiccoCenter for MSRP.
ID: gxsel6wAll too rare in today's market

These 6900XTX cards have the highest binned 80CU chips you can buy. The MSRP on these cards is 2500$ if I remember correctly. Its targeted towards extreme over clockers who want the best bins without playing the lottery. Still a bit of a money grab IMO but it's not the same as jacking up the MSRP on a regular 6900XT.
ID: gxs965ySelling a product for 250% MSRP price for a potential 10-15% better performance is the definition of greed and total disrespect towards your customers.
ID: gxsd39pI agree to an extent. There's always a markup for prebinned chips tho. In my mind these aren't targeted at general consumers either. I saw a couple people on pcmr the other day showing off these cards for general gaming use and that made me sad.

Jesus christ, I was lucky indeed to get that same card at MSRP months ago.
Hard to believe the market is this fucked up...
-
Wow only 300% the cost of the reference card. Nothing to see here.
-
Hmm idk if I should but I think I might buy it. Been looking for a new card for awhile now and I’m getting sick of waiting when I have parts just sitting here for 7 months waiting for a Gpu.
-
Jesus...I got lucky as fuck and managed to grab this card from Microcenter in January or so. Like $1k cheaper than this...
-
hold up so now Newegg is scalping?
ID: gxrkjc0It's weird how they want that much. Guess that's why it's still in stock lol
-
And yet someone will absolutely buy it for 2k lol.
-
3K after taxes for a gpu thats nuts
-
Damn, that's expensive - I picked up the non ultimate version of that here in Germany about 2 weeks ago for 1699€ and that was right at the top of my budget. But 6800XTs were selling for between 1450 & 1600 from the same shop (mindfactory.de) so it wasn't worth getting the lower spec card. Did mean that the new rig is finally done - 5800X (wanted 5900X, but none available), 64GB GSkill 3600 RAM, 6.5TB storage (all Samsung mix of SSD & M.2), X570 Gigabyte Aorus Master, Noctua NH-D15.

I don't count robbery like that as "in stock"...;)
-
The ultimate is an impressive product, what is it? something like 7% or 8% faster than a reference 6900XT... but still, THREE GRAND!!!!!
Give me a break.

And that's being sold by Newegg themselves, not a 3rd party. Newegg would be the last I would think in selling that far above MSRP, but I guess everyone is looking to cash in on this crazy seller's market for GPUs right now. :-/
